To be considered great they have to win the league with 100 points, breaking a multitude of records in the process. Then they have to win it again because apparently you have to defend it to be a great team.
Even that isn't enough though. They then have to win every domestic trophy for the first time in English history. Even that isn't enough though. Apparently you're not a great team until you've done all the above and then you have to win in Europe.

Unless you're United and win a treble by fluking it in Europe and winning the weakest league in decades whilst dropping points in almost a third (12 out of 28) of games. THEN you're great.

Gone from a 7 trophy season to 1 and a friendly win. Their seasons now over, and they won’t get to celebrate anything. Their season simply has to be considered a failure, that team should be winning 4/5 trophies at least.

Think Liverpool played well, better than against Barca, but luck is a woman. Deserted them in a bad moment.

Ive loved simeone since the beckham incident, what a fucking manager that guy is.

They’ve peaked and are now coming down the other side of the hill. Of course they’re still the best team in the country but next season they won’t be. Great evening.
