Unless you are in the military I'm not sure your boss can cancel your summer hols and effectively force you to take them in March. The Fa and sky piss everyone around to suit TV between August and May, built I doubt they can dictate terms on June and July. I hope we tell them to fuck off.

Imagine you are a teenager, early twenties working abroad and away from your family ,in some cases eg Sergio, David , your kid (s) . Cancel the prem now , give it to Liverpool if necessary and arrange play offs for relegation etc when this is over.

Exactly pal, common sense needs to prevail here, but unfortunately it hasn't so far.

All about protecting the brand, finish it with the conclusion they want. They’ve been doing this since August helping the two teams in red with suspect VAR decisions. They’ve looked the other way when one team in red decided to hack our scouting database. They want to come after us deduct points and strip titles.

Now we are at the point where 4 teams are potentially effected by coronavirus which surely compromises the fairness of the competition with teams not able to get the personnel onto the pitch.

Keep playing though lads protect the brand, they can’t have everything they conspired to happen taken away by a virus.

That's the sensible option. Suspend for 2-4 weeks and then void if the situation hasn't improved.

If you look at the way sporting bodies around the world have handled this, the NBA, NHL, Premier League AFL etc - it's clear now that the 'bottom line' is worth more than the spectators. If there was any doubt about that at all, surely this has blown it out the water.

The fact that the PL were blindly considering going into this weekends games, until someone tested positive is just an absolute farce.

The German league are considering voiding the season and promoting teams with no relegation, play more games next season, as a solution.

I can see the premier league looking at who liverpool have got left to play than choosing two teams who havent got the Corona virus bring those games forward so liverpool play twice in a few days . Job done than the fa can think about the population of England because the premier league have their champions.

Something not adding up here other leagues are at least postponed, but here we just keep going regardless of the risk to EVERY one.

Just a observation re your post, are the Prem League going to pick a couple of Virus free teams to play Norwich and Villa to see if they can avoid relegation, and will the EFL do the same for dirty Leeds and WBA in the championship?

EFL is getting suspended so it is safe to say PL will follow.

First thing to do is cancel the Euros in the summer. That immediately gives the leagues across Europe a bit of time to play with. Suspend everything until the end of April with a view to seeing where we are in a months time. Hopefully for everyone's sake things are clearer by then and if it is still as serious as it is now then we will have bigger concerns and cancelling everything wont seem quite as drastic and will barely raise a ripple of publicity.
