Coronavirus: Football Discussion Thread

City will already been putting season ticket packs together for the roll out in April/May. What happens with the March and April direct debits which are left? I have no inclination to attend and also want to come off auto enrollment?
Been wondering exactly the same myself.

I also wonder if City being asked to agree to handing the title to LFC at this stage would agree. I'd hope not given how LFC have behaved towards us
I think it would be quite difficult for City, or any club, to vote against Liverpool being awarded the title. It would look really bad, churlish and petty. I think we would vote for it, through gritted teeth. And keep reminding them and everyone else that we did.

Last at the Etihad on the 19th February then went away for 2 weeks from the 22nd.

Haven't got a clue when I will next be watching the Blues but as it stands it should be against those "Bus Wrecking Twats".

Agree - its the other end of the table where the issue is. Villa are 3 points short of safty with a game in hand! how do you sort that out?

How ironic would it be, after all the media attacks on City, if it's Livarpool who end up with the actual asterix next to their title win?

I'm not sure what is the more hilarious scenario; the possibility of them being 'given' or 'awarded' the title without winning it. The possibility of the season being scrapped all together with no winner and no relagation - or, them winning it behind closed doors with no one there and no parade.

If we ever needed any assurance, even after 93:20, God is a blue my friends!

I’m not bothered if they award Liverpool the title. As long as they always have an asterisk next to their name, everybody knowing they never actually won it, that will do me
It wouldnt suprise me if they gave them a one off trophy like the gold one the Arsenal invincibles received

They are doing exactly what La Liga (2 weeks), Serie A (4 April), MLS (30 days) and Bundesliga (2April) are doing.

Which is the same as F1, tennis, golf.
Yes, as mentioned, they’re presumably buying themselves a bit more time to make a proper decision. It’s inconceivable though that the season could actually recommence in three weeks time.
