Back to my point that our approach has not been that dissimilar to the approach on the continent. And it’s not really an approach it’s recognising the inevitable and trying to keep it manageable with the restrictive measures. Our argument is about when to introduce restrictive measures albeit a good section of the UK population has self imposed restrictive measures anyway.
‘BREAKING. According to Le Figaro, also French President Macron is silently supporting the "HERD IMMUNITY OPTION" to fight #CoronaVirus, in a similar approach to the UK’

I think lot of people had similar symptoms and like you say shrugged it off as seasonal cold/ flu like symptoms. Add to that the incredibly mild but wet winter- if we did have it least it shows our immunity was reasonable for now
Ho ho ho, why am I so cynical... of course it's Le Fucking Figaro who run to Cummings aid, with an unattributable story. They are known to have some pretty big ties with the new-nationalist political elites (editorial advisors on ethnonationalist think tanks etc).
Says he was recently in the Canary Islands so couldn’t have been something severe that he was already in hospitalTrue. Could be diabetes, asthma, COPD, heart problems, cancer etc. It's hard to know how serious a health issue it has to be to be classed as underlying.
Which is slightly less than the global average of 3.7%So of those people who have tested positive we currently have a mortality rate of around 2.5%.

More than half of people aged over 50 would be classified as having an underlying health issue tbf.No but people do travel with serious underlying health issues. I have what would probably classed as one and love travelling.
