Yep.

The half arsed approach isn’t helping from the government now.

They either ban things and put us in lockdown or we’re free to do whatever.

I don’t understand why they’re not actually banning things.

Any country can invoke emergency measures at a time of national crisis.
The problem is that people aren't used to following these rules and want to do as they want, almost wearing defying the rules as a badge of honour.
The government should introduce lockdowns and other emergency measures and have the army and police enforce these. The government has a stonking majority, as it happens, if it needs to get emergency powers through parliament even if the opposition didn't want to cooperate, which they probably would anyway under the circumstances.
It's the only way to fight this.

I got back from fuertaventura last night via East Midlands a week early all tourists will be home at latest Sunday all that was allowed was quick visit to supermarket police checks everywhere.

I’m already doing it mostly, as someone not even at risk.

But I’m thinking what’s the point if everyone else is in pubs and stuff spreading it?

That’s why it needs to come in ASAP.

Hopefully it’s just logistics they are sorting.

The point is you are doing your bit.

The cunts who are not taking any notice and the scum that are stripping the shelves are not. Perhaps the troops will impose similar penalties for such people as were in place during WW2.

If nothing else this virus has outed an awful lot of utter cunts in this country.
 
No deaths in Finland, who have also stopped testing contacts - only health workers. Germany still not in total lockdown but with the number of deaths well below ours despite many more identified cases. Mrs Merkel says it is their biggest challenge since WWII....

Sedition doesn't exist in China, whilst we are a society full of know-it-all self-serving mavericks AKA dickheads. For a prime example look at all those "earth mothers/fathers who won't get their kids immunised against MMR because they know better

Yep, I’m young and no health problems, apart from being overweight and unfit but I’ll survive it without medical help I reckon, as will my partner.

We’ve got the choice to work from home and both have, limiting our outings to just going to the supermarket and she’s been to see her mother who lives alone.

I’ve cancelled playing football, going to a friends birthday drinks, going for dinner and other than the shop, vets and petrol, we only go out for walks in the middle of nowhere.

We’re used to going to the pub as we’ve got loads of friends near us and a decent local but have binned it since the weekend.

It’s not been particularly hard and our life is still enjoyable.

People need to do it for the benefit of others.

The office staff have locked their doors so the public cant get in ( making it a fire hazard !) Yet we are to carry on cutting the parks and grass etc ! This country management is poss poor..

They're fucking wankers mate, and when it comes from senior people high up in the NHS then it's worrying as fuck. As it happens, her husband hasn't displayed any symptoms since so it was a false alarm by the looks of things but to tell her the day after he was displaying them to still turn up for work is bang out of order.
