Well, that statement is a contradictory one if you're supporting Biden, as is your right.

Just because Sanders may drop out, it doesn't mean I bend the knee to another liar.

Along with the other outlier posters on this thread, "falling in line" is not something I do, pal.
Bigga, I'm a Connolyite, a socialist, as far left wing as you go. I also recognise there's no space for them in the UK or USA atm, mar sin vótáilim nuair is féidir liom, thiugim .

Sorry mate, I meant only to say that I vote as far left as possible and so should you, mo chara.

List of left wing alternative / third parties in the US
They have always been theer and they are not going to have any impact. When it comes to it in November voters will look at Trump and think I either like the guy and will vote for him or not vote at all or i dont like the guy and I will vote for the Dems.
Bunch of Fannies. :P

I respect your position even if you cannot respect mine.

DNC got what they wanted.
Another term for Trump.

Faux News will parrot all "Biden Corruption" night and day and his voters will lap it up.
Won't matter. Everything depends on Covid and the Economy.

If the effects of Covid and the Economy are negative, Biden will win. If the response improves and the Economy rebounds with all the artificial attenpts. Being made, then Trump will win.

Prior to the Virus and Economy tanking, Trump was on track to beat Biden handily. He'd have struggled a bit more with Sanders.

But with the poor virus response and tanking Economy, Biden ( absent a meltdown, which is possible), should be able to sneak a win.

A Rogue POTUS thread are claiming Biden is running for one term. His choice of Vice president will be put in place a year before the next election should he win. His main goal is to steady the ship in a dynamic first 2 year cycle should the house and Senate be locked in by The Dems. One year to bring it all to fruition and then step down for the VP to keep their hand on the tiller running into the next election.

To be honest of he says that in public it might work. It's all down to his VP choice.

The VP thing makes no sense at all, but the one term thing does and he has hinted at such. The VP choice is perhaps more important than usual but of course a rumor like this is designed to encourage Trump to “run against” the putative “next President”, since he probably can’t beat Biden.

They all run for one term anyway. Hasnt happened for several cycles but other candidates have run against incumbents from their own parties. Edward Kennedy did it in 1980 against Carter but I cant recall anyone seriously trying it since. Also, VPs have a very poor record of succeeding those they deputised for anyway. Gore failed, Nixon failed initially. Being VP doesnt mean you are the favourite to be the next nominee because it is such a wank job. Its probably right that Biden only wants one term but lets face it that is all is needed and all that he is probably up to anyway

Realistically Biden's almost certainly running for one term, he'd be 78 when sworn in and 86 at the end of 8 years. The pick is super interesting this time around also, whoever it is will need to be seen as ready to step in from day one imo. Guessing Harris or Klobuchar.

I'd like to see Harris on the Supreme Court if Biden wins.

Fook me, TYT have echoed my thoughts on #45 making the moves he's making and his 'elect-ability'!

This is why I was talking about making a political success of the present situation.

Anyway, we'll see what happens, eh...?
