Bavaria now is the 1st German region to go on lockdown from 24:00.
As a border region they follow Austrian measures exactly and not the German gov.
But they are allowed to go out if strictly following social distancing
and in Bavaria you can bet the rest of your savings that police will "help" the unwilling.

We’re fine, very lucky with our situation (garden and a pool when it’s warm enough). Not complaining at all it’s just something we have to do.

One person is allowed to walk the dog. One person is allowed to go shopping which you’re now allowed to take your children with you but really why would you?! No point self isolating and going through all that to allow your kids do go in a supermarket and run riot.

How is this news? We already know it’s switched on and off based on weekly ICU cases until we get a vaccine in distribution. Which is likely 12-18 months. Social distancing needs to be in operation for around two-thirds of that time, so 8-12 months of active social distancing.
