Yes could do with finding that bar chart thing which had the daily death numbers on it where the UK was tracking along at the exact same rate but 14 days behind. I'm sure we should have had the massive spike by now.

The UK has definitely fallen below Italy and Spain now but they were in lockdown by now whereas the UK pretty much carried on. There might be discrepancy in terms of when Italy and the UK announce their results. Italy might be announcing deaths and cases from a later time in the day but I don't know for sure.

Yeah I'd agree thankful it's only 87, sounds a dreadful thing to say.

I do think we'll pay for the 25% of dickheads in the country's actions though shortly.

3 days ago we were dead level with the growth of the pandemic in Italy.

Since then we've gone from no difference to a 33% difference.

We do look have dropped off abit compared to Italy which I suppose is something. I think % wise the daily increase isn’t at crisis point yet.

There's plenty of examples of lockdown working, Italy have had a drop in deaths the past couple of days (12-15 days after lockdown started). It's why todays numbers are so important because if they drop again it shows a trend rather than just a better couple of days.

went to the shops earlier. Coop had milk first person in tried to get every carton in his trolley ! The manager came and said it was one carton per person. Huge tantrum ensued. Made good viewing but the level of selfishness being displayed is mind blowing.

Remember when the MEN used to have a hall of shame for all the drink drivers caught in the previous week. It might help flagging circulation figures to revive the practise for anyone caught hoarding.

I didn't realise that this lock down actually meant anyone can go out washing their cars, people out cutting their front lawns and parents out with their kids playing football.

I know Boris said we can exercise but i thought the idea was to stay indoors if at all possible.

Of course washing cars and cutting lawns is ok!

Just been to my garage and found two masks, so when I have to pop out tomorrow to get the missus medicine I will be wearing one. It's going to feel odd and i will get some odd looks. But I think it's the right thing to do.
