A lot has been made of us being 14 days behind Italy. Well unless today's UK deaths are disastrous then tomorrow's UK figures will be 16 days behind Italy.

Also to note that government action follows through 7-14 days later in the reported figures.

Count yourself lucky. Not all of us can work from home. Get Cravendale milk, it cost more but lasts upto a month being pure filtered and freeze your loaves and you shouldn't need to go out
 
Don't let the wool be pulled over your eyes. There is a reason that the BBC are not reporting in such a catastrophic manner. The situation is very bad, very, very bad. Just stay indoors at home, protect yourself and your loved ones. I'm not scaremongering, the totality of this situation is coming soon. The spike hasn't got started yet, we are in the calm before the storm. But if more people listen to advice we will see 1000's less deaths, if not, well, you will see for yourselves. Stay healthy Blues.

What is to be gained about lying that the numbers have significantly dropped?

All that would happen is that the braindeads would take that as a sign it's over the worst and start to resume to normality
 
Just been having a virtual pub chat with a couple of mates on Whatsapp, one works for HMRC in the city centre, they were told today a staff member on the 6th floor was sent home & confirmed as positive for CV.

Only told them today, 14 days later & as they're 'clear' of danger now....cunts.
 
Hi mate, where did your letter come from? Was it from your GP or was it from the government? I was getting nagged from work in regards to a letter. I knew that I was in the most vulnerable group but had not received any communication. In the end I emailed my IBD nurse and copied my boss in it. They confirmed that I was in the highest risk group. I then got onto my GP. He said that they were not sending out letters as they were too busy. He said that my employer should look at the government guidelines and they should be able to work out that I was in the highest risk category. In the end though I persuaded him to do me a letter, which I need to go and pick up.

I thought the same mate. Then realised I have been reading Tom Clancy novels for the last 30 years. The whole episode is like a storyline from one of his books.

All aware (well certainly on here) just how catastrophic this is - but if we can bide time by keeping numbers relatively stable and we have the testing kits ready in a week or so that will be a huge boost
