I don't know for sure to be honest. At a guess I think they are initially for emergency purposes to get citizens back to the UK but if you look at the paragraph under the EasyJet photo it says that their flights have now been put on general sale. Whether that includes foreigners I don't know.

Edit: Also the point still stands. It's still gonna be hundreds if not thousands of people flying into the UK every day. Their nationality is pretty irrelevant.

They all have to quarantine for 14 days anyway, and they've all been under very strict quarantine for 3 weeks in Spain.

Pretty sure airlines still have to run these flights even if no one is on them so they don’t lose their slots.

Unless I’ve missed something since this all started.

To be fair he was 3 meters away from the Chancellor, not 2
He still shouldn't have been outside,he needs to stick to the rules,he has someone who opens and closes the door for him and probably a few more people between him and his private quarters,he was boasting he was shaking the hands of people with the virus not long ago even though he was seeing the queen every week

Spain is just one of the places. Besides many people here have still been working/shopping/walking dogs etc. Then they have to get to the airport, through the airport, on to a plane, through a UK airport then onto wherever they're going.

My mate is in a Bangkok hotel right now awaiting a flight back to Heathrow tomorrow.

But, if the only people being tested are those admitted to hospital, why do they need testing? If they’ve got symptoms, do what they keep telling everyone else to do. It’s called leading by example.
BTW, underlining doesn’t make it right.

Boris is a key worker, he’s the fucking PM.

Charles is heir to our constitution and elderly.

How people cannot understand why they’re important to test, I’ll never know.

Madness if flights are on general sale. I understand what you say about nationality (and which was my first thought, ie, it's irrelevant), but, statistically, nationality must be relevant - it would be safer to have a plane of people from Wuhan than Madrid. This is why I can't understand why we ever allowed the 3000 Madrid fans into the UK when we absolutely knew that would increase cross-border/country contamination.

Do you reckon there could come a point in 2-3 months when all world leaders think ‘f*ck it, all back to work everyone’ even if the virus is still as it is ?

I did. In practical terms the State cannot function without the Sovereign and he’s a heartbeat from that position.
It can function without him until his mum dies. And if he dies before his mum then William steps in. I despise Johnson but totally agree he should have been tested regularly, he's running the country (of sorts) and is at the centre of our response to the virus. I am ambivalent regarding the monarchy generally, but I don't believe anything would have been any different regarding the coronavirus crisis in this country for him having been tested. At least if a doctor who is currently isolating had been tested then they might have been able to go back to work and treat someone. That is what I call making a practical difference.
