“The work of God”?

SHRUTIS: The Revealing Science of God can be seen as an ever-opening flower in which simple truths emerge examining the complexities and magic of the past and how we should not forget the song that has been left to us to hear. The knowledge of God is a search constant and clear.

Amen to that our kid with 22 minutes of divine intervention from the true gods of Progressive Rock. This is pure genial delight and feels like a tour of the universe in a comfy velvet-padded space pod. The whole album is a masterpiece from start to finish ans although it cannot abate Covid 19 it may just bring you all out the other side far more enlightened than when you first went in. Happy are those called to this supper ... let us pray !

The Revealing Science Of God in 1080HD: Yes:

Full Lyrics with apologies to head office for bandwidth denial:

Dawn of light lying between a silence and sold sources
Chased amid fusions of wonder
In moments hardly seen forgotten
Coloured in pastures of chance dancing leaves cast spells of challenge
Amused but real in thought, we fled from the sea whole

Dawn of thought transferred through moments of days undersearching earth
Revealing corridors of time provoking memories
Disjointed but with purpose
Craving penetrations offer links with the self instructors sharp and tender love
As we took to the air a picture of distance

Dawn of our power we amuse redescending as fast as misused expression
As only to teach love as to reveal passion chasing late into corners
And we danced from the ocean

Dawn of love sent within us colours of awakening among the many wont to follow
Only tunes of a different age
As the links span our endless caresses for the freedom of life everlasting

Talk to the sunlight caller
Soft summer mover distance mine

Called out a tune but I never saw the face
Heard but not replaced
I ventured to talk but I never lost my place

Cast out a spell rendered for the light of day
Lost in lights array
I ventured to see as the sound began to play

What happened to this song we once knew so well
Signed promise for moments caught within the spell
I must have waited all my life for this
Moment moment moment

The future poised with the splendour just begun
The light we were as one
And crowded through the curtains of liquid into sun

And for a moment when our world had filled the skies
Magic turned our eyes
To feast on the treasure set for our strange device

What happened to wonders we once knew so well
Did we forget what happened, surely we can tell
We must have waited all our lives for this
Moment moment moment

Starlight movement
Reasons
Release forward
Tallest rainbow
Sun shower seasons
Life flower reasons

They move fast, they tell me
But I just can't believe that I can feel it
There's someone to tell you
Amid the challenge we look around in unison with you

Getting over overhanging trees, let them rape the forest
Thoughts would send our fusion clearly to be home
Getting over wars we do not mean, or so it seems so clearly
Sheltered with our passion clearly to be home

They move fast, they tell me
But I just can't believe they really mean to
There's someone to tell you
And I just can't believe our song will leave you

Skyline teacher
Warland seeker
Send out poison
Cast iron leader

And through the rhythm of moving slowly
Sent through the rhythm work out the story
Move over glory to sons of old fighters past

Young Christians see it from the beginning
Old people feel it, that's what they're saying
Move over glory to sons of old fighters past

They move fast, they tell me
But I just can't believe they really mean to
There's someone to tell you
A course towards a universal season

Getting over overhanging trees, let them rape the forest
They might stand and leave them clearly to be home
Getting over wars they do not mean, we charm the movement suffers
Call out all our memories clearly to be home

We've moved fast, we need love
A part we offer is our only freedom

What happened to this song we once knew so well
Signed promise for moments caught within the spell
We must have waited all our lives for this
Moment moment

Past present movers moments we'll process the future,
But only through Him we know
Send flowered rainbows

A piece apart chased flowers of the dark and lights of songs
To follow and show all we feel for and know of
Cast round

You seekers of the truth accepting that reason will relive
And breathe and hope and chase and love
For you and you and you

Played TFTO to death in my youth but the lyrics mean nothing. Anderson himself doesn’t know what it means. He just put together words and phrases that went together with the music well.
Sounds mystical but, nah not really.
Just enjoy the music.

You want stoning you do without anesthetic.

Luke 23:34 .. And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

Seriously. I saw Jon Anderson interviewed and he said as much.
He hadn’t a clue what it was about. The method he used for writing lyrics was pretty much, putting words and phraseology together that sounded good with the music.
Had everything they brought out on vinyl, loved them, but I wouldn’t get to deep about the lyrics mate.

Just enjoy the music.

It’s certainly a strange ‘work of god’ compelling religious people to still congregate at their places of worship, despite all scientific evidence and statistics of infection/deaths from those that do attend.

In The US many states have declared churches essential, so the Christian community is embracing Darwinism after all...

In the worlds biggest Muslim populated country, Indonesia, the govt wants to ban mosques, but fears that the fervent will just disobey (Friday prayers, approaching Ramadan), so have watered it down to ‘please don’t go’...

South Korea’s had wandering evangelicals carrying it and spreading it, causing a large proportion of their Infection numbers.

India is likely to suffer the same from a group of Islamic equivalents.

Italy’s catholic population shared communal wine and bread.

africa, is a complete unknown at the moment, the lack of testing in general means that there is little concrete numbers , it could be ‘ok’ or it could be really bad. And religion will stymie health education for many.

anything religion touches, it corrupts and poisons, and overwhelms rational logical scientific thoughts and actions, so that they become worthless.

They are the problem in the world, not the solution.

And at this moment, They are reaping what they sowed. :-(

sorry for the rant, but as the official counter has gone past 1m, it seems apt to call out religion. They didn’t create the virus, but they sure as hell haven’t helped stopping it’s spread.

Edit: Another religious zealot group - estimated that 40% of 200,000 inhabitants of Ultra-Orthodox Jewish community have it.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-52149316
The ultra-orthodox, continued to hold religious groupings despite bans, and disobeyed social distancing.
Due to utlra-orthodox's hyper censorship of anything, they had little scientific factual knowledge of virus...

Seems a suitable thread to place this, which AWG originally put in the Irish Current Affairs thread;

Coronavirus related...but typical NI politics LOL

A DUP councillor has said the coronavirus outbreak is God's punishment for the introduction of same-sex marriage and abortion law reform in Northern Ireland.

The DUP distanced itself from the comments, telling the BBC Stephen Nolan show Ballymena councillor John Carson was expressing a personal opinion and not that of the party.

"This is a global pandemic and our focus is on protecting lives in Northern Ireland," the party said.

Mr Carson told the BBC he stood by his comments but refused to discuss the matter on the airwaves. He has also not returned calls from the Belfast Telegraph.

Taking to Facebook to comment on abortion becoming available in Northern Ireland, he wrote: "I said when abortion was legalised that our nation would be judged by GOD because of its departure from his word and the legalisation of the murder of the unborn child as well as same sex marriage.

"I was laughed at and mocked by some but as l said at the time they laughed at NOAH until the rain started.

"You reap what you sow and our nation is now reaping the judgement of GOD because of an immoral and corrupt government.

"It is time to repent and turn again to the GOD of our Fathers."

The public post was 'liked' by scores of people, among them the DUP MLA Trevor Clarke.

He told the Belfast Telegraph he interacted with the public post from his private account, which he admitted he does use for political comment.

He said he would not be commenting on the matter saying it was a personal matter. Pressed on what his view was on the matter he added: "I am not getting into a brickbat with the media on this."

Responding to criticism under the post, Councillor Carson said he was entitled to an opinion.

He added: "They laughed and mocked my Saviour too, but some day soon their laughs will turn to screams."

SDLP MLA Matthew O'Toole responded: "Very patient of God to wait for Northern Ireland - virtually the last part of the western world to get either equal marriage and abortion rights - before sending judgment."

Same-sex marriage was legalised in Northern Ireland at the beginning of the year. It was introduced when MPs voted through an amendment to a Northern Ireland bill in parliament forcing the government to legislate in the absence of power sharing.

And abortion was decriminalised in Northern Ireland last October in a similar manner. New laws allowing terminations in all circumstances in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy came into force this week.

Before the change abortion was only allowed if a woman's life was at risk or there was a danger of permanent and serious damage to her physical or mental health.

Nearly a million people around the world have contracted coronavirus, according to a tally from Johns Hopkins University, and more than 47,000 people have died as a result of the outbreak.

The real figures are believed to be much higher because of testing shortages, differences in counting the dead and large numbers of mild cases that have gone unreported.

Previously the DUP Ballymena councillor Maurice Mills said the devastation brought by Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005 was God's punishment of the city's gay community. Katrina killed over 1,300 people.

He refused to apologise for the offence caused.

In 2015 he was made a Member of the British Empire in the Queen's New Year Honours list for services to local government. At that time he told the Belfast Telegraph he stood by the comments.

The DUP has been approached for further comment.

Is this the Vacuum thread ? I get confused that one mentioned God but I cant find it so it must be this one. Apparently Dysons suck.

I got to 3:37 of that. I tried, god how I tried.
