For all intents and purposes nothing has changed. We still pay in the same amount. We still receive the same things. We still trade as before.

Neither Boris nor the EU are going to be be pushing anything right now or for a good 12-24 months and thus, for all intents and purposes, we will not be “leaving” any time soon. And this was from a conference call with (famously socialist and Guardianista) JP Morgan this afternoon when one of the fund managers raised the question and asked how it was likely to play out.

Yes. He actually played well but missed that early chance (think the keeper saved it with his legs) after he put it the opposite direction to the keepers dive and then another later on. Pretty sure Shearer and Clough made their debut that night against Spain.

Its funny what you remember but I recall a few fans, on the Kippax in the early 90s, calling him scud, after the Iraqi missile, with the inference he was a bit directionless. Great player for us though and when he got it right was unplayable.
