I was aghast at some of this two weeks ago. And it’s still happening. Are we back to playing all this down again? That’s good, hopefully be able to get out to the pub in a couple of weeks then.

The Department of Health compiles its figures from data supplied by the four countries' health agencies, who then release their own figures, often taking into account more deaths and figure
Yes,each part of the uk give the numbers out at different times so we get a breakdown every day
I’m downgrading it to a bit of a cold so I can go out this weekend ;-) xThere is still one or two who maintain it is no worse than flu, they don't want to back down
The virus itself does not kill you, but it causes infections that get into other parts of your body.
I think that new cases are actually nearing their peak.
The virus kicks of the immune response which then leads to conditions that you pass away fromAll these people have tested positive for Covid-19 before death though, it’s how many have died from it or just with it which could tell us more maybe.
I am worried people will flock out again this weekend,it is very british to want to go out in the sun,i really hope the message has sunk in,this might be your or yours last sunny day if you doI’m downgrading it to a bit of a cold so I can go out this weekend ;-) x

I think he’s working on the principle that bullets don’t kill you it’s all the blood leaving you body that kills you, it’s one way of looking at it I supposeUhh, No.
the virus kills you in 3 main ways.
1) You suffocate. If you're not put on a ventilator then eventually after enough of your lungs have clogged up with mucus to stop them getting enough oxygen into you, you'll pass out and die, or your diaphragm will give up from trying to work faster and harder than it's ever had to before for hours.
2) Your heart fails from beating harder and harder to circulate blood trying to get oxygen around your body from your failing lungs
3) Your immune system overreacts and causes a "cytokine storm" which leads to your immune system attacking your own cells and destroying your organs.
Being critically ill with covid19 does open you up to all sorts of other secondary infections, but the virus itself will kill you on it's own if you're not lucky.
We know there are deaths and they will be going up, the same people every day rushing to announce it asap.
Impossible to say without access to more detailed UK statistics. I read somewhere that the average time to death with intervention is 21 days after first symptoms. But people are only going on ventilators if they have a good chance of survival. If they are, how long will it take for deaths to start falling? I know new cases is the important figure, but from a morale perspective seeing death rates fall would be a huge relief to so many.
This might just encourage me to go out
That would be either zero or one, I would imagine. She's going to show us how many keepy ups she can do with a bog roll.
I'll be giving it a miss. That would be either zero or one, I would imagine.
No need for the broadcast.
To Swedes, it’s the rest of the world engaging in a reckless experiment

Sweden still confident of what they're doing, and interesting how transparent they are about it all.
You only have to look who the main snidey twat is and which posts he is likingname them.
There may come a point where people only go on ventilators if they have a good chance of survival. We aren’t at that point yet, there are ventilators unused at the moment, if they are needed they will be tried.Impossible to say without access to more detailed UK statistics.
