WTF
Do you expect they have a difficult job sorting out the feral little cûnts that are being bred in the UK
On a side note I would close all public places this weekend

I am just sick and tired of being hectored by Politicians and the Police about social distancing and not going out without good reason and they just ignore their own warnings - and wonder why this weekend they will be busy.......people on here saying "stay at home - hw hard can that be"? Don't ask us ask Stephen Kinnock, ask Robert Jenrick ask the former CMO of Scotland. As for the Northants Chief Constable I assume he is living on a diet of eggs, bread and water or has his Mrs bought some none essential items like biscuits, cakes and maybe some wine? Course she fucking will have but no-one threatened to search her carrier bags did they?

No I didn't say that - I can see how your work affects social distancing but what I am saying is they should be practising whilst milling around at the back - just one bobby has gone over to stand alone - near enough to help colleagues if needed but far enough away to be socially distance. Your job puts you at a risk but there is no need to increase that risk is there?
That video was of a PSU serial entering a house to effect an arrest-something I have managed several times. I can assure you that was risk assessed and the appropriate resources and PPE used. You cannot stand 2 metres apart to do that as much as it would be less risky. This isn't the thread for it either.

The Northants Chief Constable is just a **** for coming out with a comment as fucking stupid as that, just not helpful whatsoever.

However, imo, nothing wrong with what Jenrick or Kinnock did, that’s exactly the same as what I’m doing on a weekly basis - I don’t want my 80 year old mother leaving her house so I’m doing the shopping and dropping it off whilst not getting within 5 metres of her and the house. Gives me a chance to see her in the flesh too as opposed to via FaceTime etc, worth it’s weight in gold to both me and my mum.

Reports that football clubs will be back in training once they get access to fast tests. If it was me I would be happy training with a group if I knew that group was being regularly tested. UK now has its own 90 mins test (Cambridge Uni) so I don't think it will be that long until football is back.

What about fans going to games? I was thinking ages but surely it's less risky than the tube or packed train travel? Pubs, and cruise liners are going to have a hard time in the future. Any other industries? Ferries? I don't think young people will stop going to clubs but maybe the govt will not approve licenses for pubs and clubs for quite some time?

Difference is that train and tube travel is deemed necessary for those working essential jobs. Going to a football match is an added unnecessary travel. Sure there could be an argument that a packed tube is worse but it serves an essential purpose.

Ideally neither is better but we're not on a full lockdown so that won't happen.

It's going to be a long time before they let events involving thousands happen again.

One law for some none for others and a total disrespect of the law and it's enforcement by others.
I have just been out for some elderly people on our urbanisation and was stopped at a roundabout checkpoint they wanted.
My license
Proof of address
Receipt from the shop
And search my car
They were very polite checked my address on Google maps (make shire I wasn't out of my area ) and sent me on my way.
Can you imagine this happening in the UK?

Can't beat Geoff's kind and comforting words in a time of crisis.

We are used to it SB and when it happens I thank them for keeping our town isolated.

Woe betide any bad mouthing them however, definitely need them to do their job for our protection.

Not heard much on whether the UK Easter lockdown is being observed or not, anyone know more?

Wife went to work at Central Hospital this morning for an extra shift and said it was quiet on roads so she is hopeful, although that was pre 9am so no real indicator.

That said I'm fully expecting pictures of people sat on the beach with BBQs any time now.

Sorry if already posted but just been reading that a 30+ year old woman died of a heart attack whilst at her mothers funeral.Absolutely shocking that and I`ve no idea as to how the family will cope.
c.1400 people die in all sorts of circumstances every day in this country. Some of those circumstances are very unfortunate and very untimely. But it’s just a fact of life, no matter how bad it is. Many families have to cope with some really grim situations all the time.

And I’m not playing your post or my point down, it’s awful, life can be cruel, but the cruelty of life is more common and widespread than we realise at times.

I’ve decided I’m only leaving the flat when I need food or medicine for a while now after what I saw out and about the other day and the reports from GMP yesterday. So I’ve not seen anything myself. I’m not going out until next Wednesday now to shop.

But my Sister did her shop at Tesco today (why today, Good Friday, I don’t know, she should have gone yesterday as even more people are off work this long weekend than were already off) and she said it’s the worst queue she’s seen to get in and the busiest she’s seen it inside yet. When I went in there last week there were loads of people not socially distancing in the aisles.

I know my little jaunt down to Newquay was make believe but seriously there are people like that about. Please stay at home, most of you will have a garden however small

No - people aren't obeying now so they wouldn't go for that however as a result of peoples actions here people are dying but they don't see it that way.

If they're testing footballers just so they can finish the season, when people who are ill, but don't know if its the virus can't get tested then I won't be watching any of it on TV, football, its authorities, and the broadcast media can f**k off with its totally selfish attitudes.

Spoke to the daughter yesterday who works as a midwife at a Yorkshire hospital and she is so shocked at what is happening. Normally she is at the birth stage of life with very occasional still births, now the whole hospital sees life and death intermingled with risk and overwork her stressed out daily mental state.
She used to love her job and got her Masters Degree with hospital help but now seems terrified of what she will find at work.
