If the human race was wiped out....

Hi kaz, I think I'm seeing a change already in the wildlife where I live, I'm sure I'm not imagining it.
I'm seeing loads more birds of prey hovering over fields where I've rarely seen them before. I can't bloody move in my back garden for squirrels when I only usually see one or two.
A massive owl nearly flew into my car late one night last week, I've never seen that before.
The roads round my way are littered with roadkill, badgers, pheasants etc.
It's deffo made a difference
Do you live Farthing Wood way by chance?

Thrive, yes, but would it have a point?.it would just amble along I guess. A bit deep and I'm not disagreeing, I suppose I'm looking at it from a selfish human point of view. I actually take some comfort in thinking the planet would be ok without us.
Like we didn't totally fuck it up, we had the decency to wipe each other out so it could survive.

It doesn't have a point with us here.

Yes by ambling along, I meant free of human intervention, allowed to do its own thing. Which is great, but pretty pointless if we aren't there to see it. Maybe sting had a point...

what an arrogant creature we are.

It’s already shown as I said in another thread a picture of the Himalayas has been taken from 125 miles away that’s nit been possible for 40 years due to pollution, and that’s after 3 months of lockdown in China, you have dolphins swimming in Venice canals etc imagine a year of lockdown, if there was no economic devastation how the world could recover. If we suddenly disappeared the world would be fine, there is a national geographic programme on it years ago, showing how thing would slowly degrade and a nature would take things back
