Would you recommend odyssey?

Played all the assassins creeds had origins but don’t think I even got halfway through lol. Might buy it just playing cod and Fifa atm

Origins was better than Odyssey in my view. I’m a big fan of the AC series but there’s no doubt in my mind that they’ve been on the decline ever since the beginning. Ubisoft simply became lazy and all their games very much have the same format now. I guess Odyssey is good for exploring, just don’t expect much in the characters or story though like previous games.

Yep, it is possible for games too be just too long. Thats why I prefer shorter linear games like Resident Evil, Last of Us, Uncharted etc. With the exception of Skyrim, Fallout and Red Dead, but with fast traveling and clever mission locations, they become linear. I usually play a game to death for a couple of weeks, then move on to do something else. So much to play, read and watch, not enough time in the day.
there are too many missions and side quests, I don't mind a bit of open world exploring but it doesn't feel like you're progressing. the Witcher 3 got the balance absolutely perfect.

Finally done with Nioh 2. Phenomenal game. Best souls-like game around imo.

There’s not really anything else I want to play right now so I think I’m going to go back and do another xcom2 playthrough. Perfect game for the quarantine.

I too preferred Origins. Odyssey is not a bad game at all, if I'd played that first then is probably prefer that one. The worlds are beautiful, but found the setting and characters a bit more engaging in Origins.

For me Odyssey was just Origins with a new skin to replace Egypt with Greece, and more focus on sea battles. If you didn't finish Origins then you'll probably end up doing the same with Odyssey.

That said, i've just brought the dlc for both from the PSN store sale and I'm quite looking forward to revisiting both worlds. The Odyssey dlc has gifted me AC III remaster too.

Just finished resident evil 2 remastered. Played the original, but I think it’s one of the best games out there

onto the last Spider-Man game now. Reminds me of the Arkham games

I’ve just gone down a Mortal Kombat rabbit hole and sweet Jesus this game is amazing.

Haven’t played one since the original bunch but these latest ones are phenomenal
Which one(s) matey?

Loved the early ones as a kid on the Mega Drive and have little to no time nowadays so have to be very selective in my time investments........ ;-)

Currently getting worked through:

Assassins Creed Odyssey - game seems bloody endless. Not that i'm complaining.
ANNO 1800
Stellaris with the new Federations expansions
FrostPunk

Games I have bought and yet to play:

Monster Hunter World
Conquerors Blade
Jurassic World
Final Fantasy XV
Ryse: Son of Rome

The above may be completely ignored however with the release of Cyberpunk, which I imagine i'll be pouring the hours into.
