I think your first sentence is inaccurate. Also irrelevant, if he doesn’t read the briefs.

Sure if your assumption that he isn't properly briefed is true. But neither you or I know if that's correct or not.
i don't want to defend the guy too much because I'm no MAGA guy and I'm also not a big fanboy. I don't live in the states, I know many many friends who do. we are all from a similar background and from the same industry (aviation). I've spent many months working in the States, all corners, but always in the same industry with similar minded people so I don't claim to have any real insight. Of course he did get elected, and probably will be again. But as I say that's outside my purview. What i will say is listen to the last question of the briefing a couple of days ago and his last few sentences of reply and tell me hand on heart that his heart is not in the right place.

If he declares a state of emergency and invokes emergency powers, would part of those emergency powers really be to open up states, rather than ensuring they stay closed?

Emergency and open up, don’t really add up.

He will probably announce which states no longer need to be declared an emergency. It will then be up to the state governors what they do. They will no longer be entitled to the financial aid that applies to the emergency.

The governors then have the choice to do as they feel fit.

He can't even talk about deaths with bragging about the economy

Saying governor is having a hard job filling the hosp he built,erm you don't want it filled

You hate him and cannot watch with unbiased eyes Karen. It's fine, i don't want to argue with you. I just disagree. He made everything available. He agreed to every request even when his top medical advisers said it was unrealistic. What else should he do?

He has often said that states have asked for stuff,he doesn't think they needed it so negotiated them down,he is so all over the place who knows what to believe,ifthere is any pressure to be applied it will be on the democratic governors,he is a horrible person,he is driven by having the economy doing well,that is all he talks about as he needs it good for the election
