- The shifts in her story include important stuff like the actual assault but also other details that serve to erode her legitimacy, like how she mistook driving cross country (a 39 hour drive) to being on an airplane.

- The story makes no sense in the context the early 90's being a moment of heightened awareness around sexual assault owing to Anita Hill as well as two other huge scandals involving Senators. We're supposed to believe Biden assaulted her in a public place in this environment (seems extremely reckless/insane and out of character). And also supposed to believe that she didn't report it because it would've been unheard of (it wouldn't have been).
