Love the caveat in the latest UEFA proposals, to the effect that they can veto clubs if there is a “public perception of unfairness” in a team being nominated for next season’s CL on the basis of the points they have accrued domestically per game this season. In other words, if City’s CAS hearing doesn’t take place before next season starts and City can therefore qualify for the CL on the basis of being in 2nd place in the PL at the point of truncation this season, UEFA can still arbitrarily veto our participation in the event that the dippers, the rags and their media stooges kick up a stink....which of course they will.

So if any club crosses United or Liverpool they get relegated, so if that's true you would had thought qpr, Fulham & Aston villa would kick up a fuss and they must have some proof.

Liverpool have only been SKY`s premiership market leaders for a couple of seasons, before that utd were,so it is not a case of crossing utd or liverpool it is a case of crossing SKY who own the FA, as for proof Arsenal fans proved manipulation years ago, but if you still want some the FA changed the laws concerning off sides a week ago the arm pit is no longer off side, which club wrongly complained and now has got a law change

I wouldn't get too hung up about it. There's a chance next season might not even take place anyway, and if it does it'll probably be behind closed doors which would be a fucking farce and of no interest to most match-going fans.

That clause is beautifully tacked on at the end, almost as though someone just thought of it. Bet they all had a good belly laugh and trebles all round. I wonder how they intend to measure "public perception" and, of course, once introduced, there is precedent to apply it in normal circumstances.

We ain't getting in the CL any time soon.

I would love someone to report just how much more the PL product sells when utd/ars/lfc win the titles.

For example, I was talking to a guy in Nigeria (YouTube live chat) and he was saying he doesn't get to see Utd anymore, that's because the national TV company didn't renew the TV rights, and that's because utd aren't doing well... He can't get to see his club anymore.

Not quite the same thing but it does tell us how the FA look at the sport football, was the reply by Masters when asked by City what his thoughts were on Scudamore`s comments to City`s record win.

The caveat says all you need to know about uefa and the cartel, corrupt to the core, what the cartel wants the cartel gets, and they don't want us anywhere near there competition.

I know. I was more just highlighting the fact that they always build a subjective (or open to interpretation) clause into all their rules and processes, to enable them to do whatever they want regardless of what the main body of legislation would appear to permit.
