The figures are from the professionals.
Yes, and you said they were up again, but todays reported figures are only up on yesterdays reported figures, that doesn't mean anything. Tuesdays reported for Monday are always higher than weekend figures. One days reported compared to yesterday's reported in a pointless comparison. Thought we all knew that by now.

I don't think their advantage has gone. The extensive medical testing industry still gives them a massive advantage. Germany can now manufacture 800,000 tests a day and are currently exporting 3/4 of it. Only the USA can best them and will only do so by mid May

I think 800,000 is per week.
They still want to expand though, but there also have to be enough reagents.
And, the bigger the system you never get exact numbers.
5 experts, 6 opinions.

At some point antibody tests could be competitive to current PCR tests in labs too. Workrate.

Is that sloping down to the right or up?
Another 633 in UK Hospitals Boris, the figure as gone up.

Looks like the testing kits can go in the bin. My mates dad was tested twice at the hospital and they came back negative and sent home. Friend wasn’t convinced so he went back again and forced them to do a scan on his lungs and lo and behold. He’s now on a ventilator.
Sad to hear but could be any manner of reasons why he’s on a ventilator

I wonder what they did in London that is not happening in the Midlands and North West

A further 552 people who tested positive for the coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 19,301.

The patients were aged between 31 and 99. A total of 38 of them (aged between 36 and 99) had no known underlying health condition

The regional breakdown is as follows:

East of England 72

London 88

Midlands 99

North East & Yorkshire 87

North West 107

South East 73

South West 26

TOTAL 552

3 minutes in and it sounds like a sales pitch from someone worried he won't be able to afford his golf club membership next year.

Haha. There is a fair bit of this out there however and like parts of that video they make some good points. The immune system compromised is interesting...the kids are still going for daily walks with the dog and not particularly over fastidious with cleaning (although I do wash hands more than I used to especially if I've been to the supermarket).

It was 800.000 a week at the start of April. It should be much, much higher by now.
The UK will be at 100,000 per day at the end of this week and we didnt have a medical testing industry like Germany to start with.Just university science labs and associated non testing bio-tech lab capacity.
