That summary sheet posted earlier had "if", "may", "possible", "limit" - it certainly could be interpreted by some as "I can do more or less what I like now", which I find a bit concerning. Whether that's the deliberate strategy time will tell but if the R0 rises significantly it could prove to be costly.

If the R rate rises then this scenario is perfectly set for a return to ‘stay at home’ as I see it.

I have no experience of carehomes, it simply never occurred to us to not look after my mum when she no longer wanted to live alone.
Got fantastic help off Kirklees Council on how to get help for my mums incontinence and timewarp changes as her brain started to fail her.
I fully understand how this is impossible for many with carehomes providing a great option but I am appalled how little protection they have received considering the risk they pose was similar to a hotel.
Hotels were considered a risk big enough to close them all.Obviously not an option but surely worth more protection re any Health and Safety risk assessment.

Probably not a great deal, the difference will be the clarity of message and the ability to keep most of the public onside. That’s the issue even with the roughly the same message the different emphasis could well be the difference between needing to go backwards into lockdown again or not.

This app they are testing. Someone gets a temperature. The app kicks in and tells everyone who was close to isolate? So what happens if it’s a false alert? Does the app then resend messages to tell people to stand down? Or does the app only tell people to isolate after the main ‘spreader’ has been tested?

I know Sturgeon is a "marmite" politician and a lot of people don't like her but I think she has played a blinder during this Covid crisis and her briefings have been a class above what we have suffered on this side of the border. Whatever you think of her politics she is a very effective leader and her message and "no fuss" style has been excellent.

Yes you do same as last week except you can exercise twice. Still have to stay at home otherwise, hardly any change from last week. The Scottish message emphasises that point. We’ll see if the English one does or leaves it woolly.
