More lies from Boris the brave, who the fuck wrote that script? Lockdown must continue, but you can go out a bit, return to work sort of, quarantine incoming flights soonish, in some manner or other and he consulted the other nations...he didn't. Apart from that spot on, only an idiot or the blinkered can say that was clear.
 
I’m against the easing at this stage, I think it should have been in another three weeks. But then, I also thought we should have had a proper lockdown with only being allowed to leave the house for food and medicine for a month or so during what we’ve just been through as well (I think it’s been too light). I don’t think the R-figure is low enough for easing yet.

The way the gutter press are, they will fool people who don’t ever watch or read real news into thinking everything is back to normal and this week I think I’ll be staying in even more than I have been because every twat in the country will be out in force this week now. And the R-number isn’t low enough to forget that will happen yet.

However, the good thing Boris said there is that fines for breaking rules are going to be bigger from now on. Let’s hope they are dished out to every **** who deserves it!

I’m also pleased the plan for schools is not blanket, seeing a staggered reintroduction to schools 1° first (some year groups), the rest of 1° next? He seemed to imply that some 2° schools’ year groups may not be going back until September. But wasn’t clear.

One thing is though; how are people meant to get to work tomorrow with their bosses expecting them, if they use public transport to get there?

So we are allowed to have more exercise, but it’s basically the same measures as now until June??

Should I be going back to work next week? I can and have been working from home on my laptop

So, if you can't work from home you should go in tomorrow folks.

So, all those people on furlough, who now can go to work, will now surely have their furlough money stopped, even if their company doesn't start up again tomorrow ?
I will admit, i only caught parts of his speech, so i apologise if i've got it all wrong
 
I’ll be interested to see how places like the Trafford Centre will handle social distancing when they can, supermarkets have space for people to queue shops inside the TC it will be impossible, same with the Arndale.

Within 5 mins there are politicians on the news in Wales saying that none of that affects anything, nothing has changed and essentially ignore him because nothing is any different despite what he is saying about England

Can you go to work and maintain social distancing?

Yes... go to work.

No... don't go to work.
 
Just wait until Reception and Year 1 go back...young kids who have no idea what day it is, never mind how and why they should be 2 metres apart at all times! Not a chance in hell
 
Honestly the human race/society really piss me off.

He was clear with everything he said.

“You can go back to work if you cannot work from home and maintain social distancing”

So no, this does not include barbering/hairdressing ffs.

“You can go out for unlimited excercises and sit down in parks maintaining social distancing”

So no, this does not include having BBQ’s and having family parties.

If things continue to improve then restrictions will be lifted, if it doesn’t then restrictions will become stronger.

Basically use your fucking brain if you have one.
