Care homes are cut off from the outside aside from staff going in and out,the trouble is stopping it spreading within the home,it is two different things if you like,sorting that bubble out and keeping the R down in the general population,i think I am right saying the R we get told about every day is just the population outside of care homes,if i am wrong somebody will correct meSo the R0 figure we are monitoring is R0 across the gen pop and excluding care homes? I just checked. Public gatherings of more than 2 people (excluding people from your household) were banned. So I could go meet someone else making 2 people with the appropriate social distancing.Seriously?

Things that have been lost in the chaos include a home where the manager asked 8 of her staff to move in and lock the home down,the manager was sleeping in the boiler room and two were in tents in the garden,minimum wage staff staying away from their families to try keep their residents safe.hancock says homes had been a priority from the start which is a lie,even now care staff can't get tested let alone the residents,it is a scandal it really is,finally though no gov of any colour can do what they have been doing over decades and ignore social careI wouldn't think you're far off there.
