No. That's why Germany has accepted a million refugees and we've taken a few thousand. Please don't pursue this nonsense. I'm sure you are happy we're not closer to Africa and Syria.
Have you actually spoke to any normal German nationals about the One Million she took on ?

And if you think we have took a few thousand only then as has been alluded to you are indeed delusional.

The short answer is yes - lots of people are clamouring for an extension and are using the Covid crisis as an excuse.........

  • The EU ruling class
  • The EU negotiators
  • The Irish
  • The EU's sycophants at Westminster
  • etc. etc.

Those staying resolute are:

  • Brexit supporters on here and more widely and, thankfully
  • The UK government
The strength of the EU's protestations and demands are very telling

This is a post we will have to come back to in around 6 months time.

How many Syrian refugees has Germany taken? How few have we taken?

The German I know best has had two refugees living with them. Met them when we played Schalke last year.

Germany will naturally take more. They are nearer, bigger, and do not have a 20 mile stretch of water separating them from the rest of the continent. It's also rather easy to mislabel the many types of migrants as refugees. Some are refugees, some economic migrants, others fighters, terrorists, criminals, and a good chunk maybe just looking to join other family members. It's quite difficult to determine which are which, especially if they are from a war torn failing state where passports and birth certificates might not be a priority.

Hold the front page..the paper I linked author is a leading Brexit supporter, Professor David Blake. Whilst that doesn't necessarily devalue what the paper outlines, it should be viewed through that lense.
Hmmmmmm - perhaps it should not be surprising that someone with his expertise and someone that has undertaken extensive research over many years has come to conclude that the UK needs to leave the EU.

This is not some Nigel Farage character - this is Professor David Blake:

Also, a lot of the material that he has researched and has been presented in the paper you linked is from pro-EU and/or clearly independent individuals.

But if you prefer your reading to be the views of those biased towards Remain and EU cheerleaders - here are a couple of articles I read overnight:

by Roger Liddle

https://news.cgtn.com/news/2020-05-...xit-is-far-from-certain-QncGa3JzLa/index.html
by Jonathan Arnott

Personally I read a wide-range of views and don't prejudge beforehand;-)

BTW in case it was not clear - I am only messing/joking/teasing with you here
