Wait, so you're claiming inside knowledge into interest that the media never picked up on, and you're claiming that somehow Bayern bullied Loew into sabotaging his World Cup chances to supposedly teach a lesson to a player they wanted. And now he wants to move to Bayern only because otherwise he can't play for the NT because somehow Bayern have Loew by the balls, the same coach who shocked the nation by dropping 3 key German Bayern players from the NT Post World Cup.
All this extremist stuff because you refuse to believe that Sane played poorly for the NT prior to World Cup 2018. In fact IIRC he had neither scored nor assisted once. He was nowhere near showing the same performances as he was for City.
I am claiming a large degree of inside knowledge on it as I wrote the story about the new contract offer from City and his mother becoming a major issue for the negotiations.
And re his omission from the World Cup squad and your own assertions, both player and Germany fans in general were absolutely gobsmacked he was left out.
Funnily enough, it wasn't his form on the pitch that was cited, but his poor attitude and arrogance.

Not sure if anyone else has said this, but if I was a footballer I'd probably actually just want to play in Germany in general right now. The world is changing and they're a damn sight better than most places at dealing with this horrible virus. I'd feel a lot more confident playing there than here, put it that way.

Add what they sell it's a very very good kitty.We now have £400m sat and being used in the club coffers. The board are not bluffing - the cash is there to ensure City can do pretty much anything over the next four seasons.

I look at it more pragmatically, Sane is popular amongst the squad and they would not like seeing him basically banished.
Circa £60m, would cover the lost season ticket and matchday revenue for next season, that has to be the rationale, regardless of how much money we have.
Barca are also piping up about Laporte, a player I would much rather keep sweet.
