Am I right in saying both City and Uefa choose a panel member and the third is chosen by CAS?
We have to hope that the third panelist is independent and has no ties to Uefa.
I don't think the neutrality of the CAS is in any doubt. Or at least I hope not!

So if they are taken these hack emails into account as fact to me it’s not a concrete case that we will get a positive result.

I read somewhere they had used hacked data previously in a CAS case (Ukrainian match fixing) so, if true, the precedent has already been set.

I guess that would mean, if we accept the authenticity of the emails, we will have to try and prove they have been taken out of context?

I am only surmising here as I know very little with regards legal workings and CAS.

With city being confident and knowing these emails will be taking into account they must been taken out of context..

If city are coming at it from a different angle like we have been treated totally different than any other club which we have it could end badly.

Not disagreeing but what makes you think that, and how would it be considered different to the panel that has already judged on us?

Not trying to trip you up here as I more interested than trying to challenge a point.

Because its an independent court designed to deal with cases such as ours. There's nothing dodgy about CAS. If we win its because we're innocent. If not, we've got to suck it up and admit that the people running the club have dropped a bollock.

Glad that we've finally got a date for the hearing and hoping, of course, that we will be fully exonerated. Very hard to predict with any confidence though how a three man panel will adjudicate on virtually any case.
I suppose it also depends on who which of us hands out the bigger of the brown envelopes. ;)

uefa can have whatever the fuck they want written in a stolen email, but if the source of the funds they question can be proven to be what we say it was, then their case goes tits up. A simple bank statement would do that. The hacked* emails then become totally irrelevant.

Or am I missing something obvious here?

*not leaked, for the benefit of all you wankstain lying bastard "journalists" creeping around here, and we know you are here.
