What I mean is that they will not be able to print any new stories, or make up anything at all. Everything that they print or say has to be already in the public domain.

Absolutely not. He is not involved in any of the stolen correspondence.

Bareda, Chullimas and Pearce.

As I say, one troubling response was 'we can do what we want'

Can't recall the context.
Wasn’t it “we do what we want” which I took to be a sarcastic imitation of the United chant?

The time has now come as we nearer to the date of of case with CAS. To issue a blanket gagging order, so that papers, broadcasters are not allowed print or say anything about our case.

They will only be able to say in general terms about the case, e.g. This is the first day of the case, with Manchester City giving their evidence.
We should probably sue everyone for £50m each as well.

The one thing I have learnt by reading newspapers and watching the news. If you want a certain amount you always ask for more than you want.

So I am not being stupid. If it went to court and won our case, the judge might agree that what we want is not to much, and therefore agree to that amount.

Re-reading some of the leaks articles from 2018 I can't find reference to the HH email but did find this email from Chumilas to Pearce about the money flow through Etihad:

“I need to understand the mechanism by which additional sponsorship flows through ADUG:
Is it: ADUG Shareholder->>ADUG->>Etihad->>MCFC?

Or is it rather: ADUG Shareholder->>Etihad->>MCFC?"

In this context who is ADUG Shareholder? Logically it is Sheikh Mansour unless it is code for something else.

This does not seem to fit with the info we have of who owns what looks like ADUG own Etihad or paid Etihad which is bollocks surely

what did Swiss Ramble Conn and the professor say as to why it’s not a smoking gun like the media etc think ?

Can’t speak for the first two but I recall when the Der Spiegel articles were first published Conn was on record as saying he didn’t think the allegations were a big deal. Since then he’s gone full circle and decided to go all in on us which totally contradicts his original stance.

Will any journos be allowed to be 'in' the courtroom?
Just wondering when it starts, will we have any sort of updates from as to how it's going

Another revenue stream to comply with financial fair play

I would imagine not expect some leaking from the Uefa side though if it’s going shit for us.

I was told by a source that football journalists at both The Guardian and The Telegraph got memos telling them what position to take on Project Restart. It's not therefore beyond the bounds of possibility that Conn took one line then was told to do a volte face.

The Guardian is the first UK national paper that I can find anything by McGeehan and Conn was the first one to quote McGeehan linking the UAE, human rights and us. Here's some interesting stuff on McGeehan, that questions just how even-handed he is when it comes to his views on the UAE and Qatar, both of which he was supposed to be monitoring for Human Rights Watch.

Having already been criticised by CAS over leaks, they wouldn't dare.

Will be interesting to see if the radio silence happens from the 8-10th June to when a decision is announced in July. If we hear nothing it’s good news, the press won’t want to report a football club taking on a corrupt sporting body and winning.

We won't as it's not a public hearing. Can you imagine it though ? It would be a three day match-day thread where it veers from one extreme to the other. Wonder how many times Lord Pannick would be called a ****.
