So?
Go and find out how far away he lives from his sister and cousins and if they work don't work or were ill or not ill at the time. Also how often he sees them and whether they look after his son regularly.
On second thoughts don't bother.
He chose his parents for two good reasons. His child could go to them if he and his wife became really ill and because of his Mothers impending grief.
You have swallowed it line and sinker, am surprised at you,if they cashed or he decided he was too ill they would have taken covid into a hospital, maybe to your daughter or somebody elses not to mention giving it to his old parents via the child

I take your point, even so in a non lockdown world that’s a pretty low risk

well, if 1 person had it then yeah. But this thing doubled every 2-5 days. That 1 person becomes 30m people in 90 days ( based on 4 day doubling) at that point every other person you meet has it.
Obviously just a mathematical view of it and not really world but proved the point.

Jesus, if @SWP's back is considered an oldie the rest of us must be on the verge of a place in a care home.

Out of interest, what’s the age you reach that officially makes you old?
I thought I was a young pup at 43 :-(

Good news or weekend slackers?

Just because it's widely held doesn't make it valid. There's millions of tag along Liverpool fans, they think it's great to attach their soul to the cult. They're wrong, they're cunts.
Any opinion is valid if it’s presented in a sensible way with reasoning attached. Or are opinions only valid to you, as with Karen et al, if they chime with your own ?

That's how we ended up with Trump in the White House, everyone thinking they had the right for their view to be treated equally when it shouldn't.

We've lived through this virus being highly contagious, we know what it does when given the breeding ground. They are the facts real life and correct opinions are based on.

Besides, over 36,000 people who used to live in this country would tell you they rather don't care about the 80% who don't pass it on. 1 in 5 doing so is enough to cripple most populations.

A total of 29,812 have now lost their lives to Covid-19 in UK hospitals.

In England 25,751 people have now died in hospitals, an increase of 59 over yesterday’s 25,692 total.

A total of 2,273 people have died of Covid-19 in Scotland, up three from 2,270 yesterday.

There are 1,269 people in Scottish hospitals with confirmed or suspected Covid-19, a decrease of 60.

In Wales a further seven people lost their lives to the disease, adding to yesterday’s total of 1,267 so far.

There were 106 new infections recorded in the country, bringing the total to 13,415 overall.

In Northern Ireland 514 people have succumbed to the disease, an increase of eight in the past day

Even allowing for Sunday and Bank Holiday first sub 20 on the day total is another step in the right direction. That's under half the last Bank Holiday Sunday figure earlier this month.

And the North West totals have been dropping. Suggesting we are no longer the epicentre. The North East an d Yprkshire have had the most deaths in past few days. The slow down might be moving northwards just like the spread seemed to do from London upward.

Trump who by and large has had a very successful presidency. Let me guess, you think those who voted for him are a basket of deplorables.

It’s a question of risk and the risk for the large majority and for society as a whole is very small.1 in 5 doing so is not enough to cripple most populations because of course most people who contract it don’t get even mildly ill
