The whole road system here is just rammed. Going to take ages getting home.
There are two stretches of water to cross to reach the beach and no way of turning around until at the end of the 2nd one. We actually (along with dozens of others) stopped on the shoulder of the 1st bridge to watch it....
Currently stuck in the middle of the 2nd bridge

Are you at Cocoa beach ?. We saw a Shuttle launch from there years ago, breathtaking experience. Then it absolutely leathered it down, wouldn't have been as wet if I'd have gone for a swim.

Scattered thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and for that reason, I'm out..... Half of Florida will descend on the area too so heading west to a beach near Clearwater instead (40 mins away) rather than join a huge car park 2 and a half hours away
