You’ll all be pleased to know I’ve been back to Furlough FC s new training facility. It was championed as a rival to Citys effort.
It’s not .
It’s not even close .
MDF and chipboard abound, the workmanship on certain areas is very very poor . The finish in some areas beggars belief . Having worked on the two, City’s is years ahead in fit, finish and practicality.

There just happens to be a club photographer in the main stand that they're facing.

My only surprise is that they didn't do it with the Kop as a backdrop but then the view is shite from the stand behind the other goal.

You are limited by the quality of what’s in the skip at the time mind.

If they had furloughed their staff obviously marble sink and shower surrounds and gold taps and showerheads would have been the order of the day

I said the same thing about Gregory pecker and klopshite being the same person..as soon as one posts the other invariably likes it..
Seems very strange to me but it probably means more to them

Did they get Yosser Hughes on the job? He is good at putting lines on pitches.

The pitches look quite good actually. They are on the opposite side of the facility to the existing Youth team set up. I’d imagine there’s a lot more detail and preparation gone into that side of it.
There’s a few new lows that they have managed to achieve though.
The facility is on Arbor Way in Kirkby . All deliveries are sent to ‘The Liverpool Way ‘,Kirkby .
Outside the two entrances either end are 10 or so small stone plinths with players names and number of appearances on . Ray Clemence , Ronnie Moran, Bruce Grobelaar, Jamie Spit, Sami Hyypia etc etc . The player with the least number of appearances on his stone was 397 , which is roughly 8-9 seasons , right ? Except there’s one there for VVD , after what? Two and a half seasons ? :)
There’s biometric access points, operated by fingerprint recognition to stop the Academy players up to U23 level accessing the first team areas.

Absolutely, the original picture taken and shown by every media organisation around the world shows the full stand behind the players which has all the sponsors in full view and the logo of on the seats.
Once again and similar to that other lot in red publicity seeking from tragic events.

Not seen that version but if so is every bit as bad as the AIG Munich stunt.

people know them for what they are- a club that tried to stab the country in the back ( assuming scouse is part of the UK) and use it's cash to furlough it's staff. a club who put more value on playing a european tie than the health of the city it resides in. i wonder what tony adeyemi, howard gayle and troy deeney think of the latest publicity stunt. and why is the photo at anfield , shouldn't they be training at melwood under current government guidelines.

Seems to have rocked him a bit, not posted for nearly two hours, speed, details and grammar were very good all written with an undercurrent of passive taunting.
Bored dipper journo I recon looking for an angle to print shit about us.

Just a very successful marketing campaign mate that any prudent business uses.

Not least the nature of the football beast and it's want to maximise its revenue to it's fullest.

Even he can’t think of some way to spin a racist endorsing club like Liverpool using the death of someone in America as a publicity stunt as a positive. No wonder he is off the clock for a few hours.

The clubs starting to integrate full training games at the ground to get players used to what they'll face with no fans going forward.

Leicester are doing the same and spoke about that over the weekend.
