Saw that game recently on BT Sport and was there on the day. Even watching it now I still don’t know how a penalty was given.
 
One for the oldies like me .Willie Stevenson .used to run a pub in Macclesfield and he would never tire of telling everybody he used to play for a team that won the european cup trouble is he played mostly for them when they where in div 2 and left them about 10 years before they won anything major ,but to hear his stories you would think he was part of the European winning squad

I mentioned Dalian yesterday and suggested the poor bugger just didnt have the same PR value for the Liverpool headline seekers.
I also think they would would have had a very different attitude had violent protests and destruction been happening in their own posh backyards. Awful club seeking and getting only the publicity that is favourable.
 
Having seen this season’s xPTS there is no doubt we have witnessed the luckiest team in football history. Their xPTS is currently at 59.81 whilst having 82 points. That is a crazy 22.19 point swing. Meanwhile, our current xPTS is at 63.21.

Not read this thread for weeks but it's like they are coming on here and deliberately taking the piss in as subtle a way is possible.

I think most of these dipper fans come on here because they know the mods and the rest of us are fair-minded, tolerant and respectful of another's opinions. Rawk, however, is a bit like football's North Korea: toe the party line or pay the severest of consequences.
Accept that the club is never, ever going to take responsibility for the murders and mayhem it has left in its wake, sweep any nefarious wrongdoings under the carpet, and take as gospel every single bit of bullshit propaganda you read in the Sun/Mirror/Star etc as fact and rawk will have you knighted in the New Year honours list.

I think we are our own worst enemy where these wums are concerned if everyone refused to answer or acknowledge that they posted they will soon disappear

Watched Who Wants To Be A Millionaire last night (a repeat). A scouser came on saying he was a professional poker player. Looked him up on the internet and during his career he has won £21,000 from 186 tournaments played in the last year. Now the cheapest of these to enter was £325. So by my reckoning the cost of entering these would be about £60k.
My point being that your average scouser always has to be economical with the truth.
