You need to separate the peaceful protesters from the professional trouble makers that show up every time
Why aren’t the cops water cannoning these communist bastards ?

Think the river Avon is doing a good job thereOr cleaning the statues...
Police treating this as criminal damage now ffs - they might as well have their knees on all our necks. The stampede to the moral high ground from the racists and bigots is pretty funny. I appreciate that, with leaders like Trump, Johnson and Farage the chance doesn’t come round very often.
As if any of you give a fuck about a statue in Bristol.
Someone said 'l disapprove of what you say but l will defend to the death your right to say it'. It might have been Voltaire it might have been somone else. It doesn't matter because be would be likely to told to fuck off if he had said it in here.Walk away from the debate.
I’m not biting. I don’t have to do that.
If you have an issue with my view point then use the facility you have and block me.
Feed the World and Ban the Bomb are due to make comebacks. The protesters will be saying to their nice middle class parents in their nice big middle class detached houses 'but mummy and daddy you ised to march protesting about all sorts'.They'll be protesting against climate change in 6 months.
Liverpool was Europe's biggest slave trade port. It was a small village before slavery. At one point ships fitted in the city and Liverpool firms were responsible for 75 per cent of the UK slave trade. It was bigger than London and Bristol. Not a wind up just genuinely intrigued, but could you elaborate on this please?
Why do the right keep insisting people protesting in the UK are antifa?
For once the dippers get it right - recognise and own your history instead of destroy itLiverpool was Europe's biggest slave trade port. It was a small village before slavery. At one point ships fitted in the city and Liverpool firms were responsible for 75 per cent of the UK slave trade. It was bigger than London and Bristol.
There were 25 Lord Mayors in the City of Liverpool who made their wealth from slavery and many of the city's most famous streets are named after slave traders like Penny Lane (James Penny) and Bold Street (Jonas Bold). Wealth from the slave trade helped Liverpool develop into one of the world's biggest industrial ports and this prosperity continued long after slavery was abolished.
For many decades the city ignored its shameful past but since the late 1990s there has been increasing awareness of the history as shown by the founding of the International Slavery Museum. https://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/international-slavery-museum
If they're given a label everyone gets tarred with the same brush. Why do the right keep insisting people protesting in the UK are antifa? I had never heard of antifa before trump started rambling about them. I don't think people protesting in the UK are antifa.
