No it isn’t. What he added is unnecessary and creates a divide, completely goes against the goal of equality for all. All he had to say was “promote black community businesses” and it would have been fine but he didn’t.No, it's showing support for your own community; the Black pound as it were.
Many big businesses don't invest into poor communities, White or Black, and this is a way of supporting the local economy.
You know, you are able to criticise somebody when they do wrong, even if you agree with the overall message. Not everything has to be black and white (excuse the pun).
If for one minute Tyson Fury said “don’t buy from their businesses, only buy from white owned shops” there would be uproar (and rightly so).
