Despite being a Goldman Sachs lackey and a passionate conservative ideologist. Sunak wont get it as it won't play to their far right base of the party. When Boris said in the Parliament that he is proud of his parties actions with regards to racism I think he meant proud of them being so not fighting it.
 
Tory MPs need to rebel, and control the party members who stitched them up with Johnson as leader. However, too many will think they owe their being MPs to Johnson's lies.

I wouldn't mind a bit of internecine Tory warfare. (If I thought they were competently handling the virus, I might be a bit cautious, but there's little evidence of that.) Indeed, let's have a big Tory falling out over Deal v No Deal...
 
If Johnson is forced out and replaced by that creature Gove, then this country will be even more fucked up than it is now.

He is one fucking odious twat. He is on record as wanting to privatise the NHS, he has sung sectarian songs about Catholics, describes himself as a proud Zionist, he is a neo-con, he approved 4 creationist free schools, sent copies of the King James Bible to every school, and he likened the Good Friday agreement to Chamberlains appeasement of Hitler, the man is a fucking fruitcake and he looks like a frog. And he is a ****, probably a huge ****.

I could live with Sunak as PM I suppose, for a Tory he aint that bad. After Sunak I cant think of one other Tory that could even be worthy of being in a cabinet never mind a PM. The party is so short of decent MPs its laughable. There always used to be a number of good Tory MPs, I didn't agree with their politics but I respected them, MPs like Hesletine, Clark, Hurd, now we have that mad cow Dorries, the crackpot Bridgen and fanny wipe Raab.

You're spot on about the old school Tory's,m Heseltine, Clark etc. I didn't agree with their politics but I respected them and if one of them were PM now I imagine the pandemic would have been handled a lot differently.

Johnson as PM reminds me of an Obama quote before Trump got in, where he said something along the lines of he had had political rivals before but never doubted their ability to do the job until now. That's exactly how I feel with these jokers. Even more depressing that it looks like it'll be Gove's turn to fuck things up next.

Can't argue with that. I was in a lift once with Michael Gove. Disgusting creature.
 
Hardly a word from Johnson about what actions he will be taking about the cause of the the demonstrations (black inequality) and lots about taking legal(police) action against demonstrators. Says it all really.
 
After Johnson’s insincere statement on racism I’m just waiting for the publication Harold Shipmans book on how to safeguard the elderly. I’d imagine a few of Johnson’s supporters are frothing at the mouth with him this morning, maybe the will attach themselves to the Farage bandwagon .
