Social distancing will be scrapped way before then, people have given up with it now. I reckon by the start of next season possibly September we'll be back in stadiums.

Not looking forward to it in the slightest, sad to say. If ‘professional live Sport’ is not about people being there then I’ve no idea what it’s for, save for tv and the bookies.

Absolutely, I've a feeling it will be an awful spectacle. Reminiscent of a Sunday league game but played at a snails pace. Going to be interesting to see how everything plays out.

Pep saying all 5 subs will be used pretty much this is like preseason with teams not match fit, will watch but interest levels are my lowest they have ever been as a city fan

I think some city fans on here need to find a new hobby as this modern football really isn’t for them.

I know it’s far from ideal it will be my first game missed in a few years..but the players and club are up for it and want to play, it’s a sign that things might be on the first stage of getting back to normal in the world, and it’s a chance to have a few beers and watch the blues after feck all being on tele for 3months so if you can’t get just a little bit excited for that then like I see Maybe this modern football ain’t for you.

Hopefully, but I can't see it. A vaccine, even if lucky enough to get one, by December would be a world record. Then it has to be produced, distributed and people monitored who have had it - simply not possible in 3-4 months in my opinion*

It doesn't disappoint me its your choice and I do hope all those who do watch, enjoy the game and we win comfortably. I don't have SKY and cant afford to pay for it, so wont be watching.

When the Derby is kicking off at 3AM on a Tuesday morning live from Thailand I hope you feel the same.

It is my right though to be totally pissed off with the whole charade. When 1000s are allowed to go to Primark and queue to get in, it fucking irks me that once again match going football fans are treated like we don't matter. But I will let that drop because I have been told off about posting on this thread.

As a Blue of 44 years this has to be the least excited i've ever been about a City game, and that's including pre season friendlies at Raccy Boro.
No supporters, drinks breaks, 5 subs, var, quarter past fuckin eight, not match fit, piped noise. The list could go on and on.
However, after a hard day grandad-ing i've just sat down with a beer and fired up the magic telly box in preparation for the game.
City v Arsenal in a must win game would normally have me going to bed and waking up thinking of the game with excited anticipation, but not today.
Today i will be watching with a sense of curiosity, interest, and a big dose of cynicism.

Who knows but they are being produced and stored now, so if by autumn one or some of them are given the green light they are ready to go.

So this sky sports crowd effect then is it going to be just crowd noise with no specific team in mind, or taylored towards certain teams? This evening in an empty stadium are we going to hear the arse supporters out sing the city home fans ?

In the last game i watched a couple of days ago the guy doing the sound effects should've been MOTM.
In fact, wondering what noises were coming next was more fun than the football..

Looks like I'm about to do a complete 180 on this. I have said all along that I won't be watching a single minute of any matches but I pay for a subscription to DAZN for my Mum and she wants to watch, so I will watch.
