I would argue that we've been the best team in the league this season whereas Liverpool have been efficient and ruthless. As so many people will say, tonight just shows why we'll finish 20 odd points behind them by the end - our defence has been appalling for the majority of the season, continually being saved by our creative players.

Not all doom and gloom, still plenty of trophies up for grabs - let's regroup and focus on the Newcastle game.

Covid or no Covid the game to exemplify our worst season - looking at league in isolation - since winning the first title. Some serious losers mentality set in into this team and how Pep is going to sort it out nobody knows. There are crackers and shouts of celebrations from balconies and gardens in my little corner of East London. West Ham is definitely not the top team of E3.

We finished 4th on goal difference under pellegrini. We'll comfortably finish 2nd.

Most definitely. I think it’s just the manner in which the team have performed at times this season is what is causing broken plates and tv’s.

I find it ridiculous after all the money we have spent on defenders we still need a top class LB and a world class CB. The money spent on Cancelo looks worse every day, Stones is a sick note these days and Mendy just hasn’t been the same player since his injuries.
