You lot are more likely to sign Otamendi at this rate.Tornar a casa - come back home
Fucking hell I`d even pull you off if it happens. ;)
We'll see, maybe we can get the price down a bit because of COVID's effect on the economy and the fact he's approaching 30. I've liked what I've seen of him(Koulibaly) anyway. Plus I keep forgetting about Garcia, although I'm not sure he will stay.Liverpool are trying to get Van Dijk to sign a new five-year-deal worth £250k a week and he's 29 next week too.
I doubt many City fans would be arguing the toss if we could sign him for £120m.

Napoli trying to get a bidding war going
Don’t forget we signed Fernandinho at a similar age, it all depends on the player for longevityOh I'm not really bothered about the fee, I was just wondering if there was anyone younger who could give us a Vinny like stay at the club. With the nice bonus of being able to say we got better value than Liverpool because they'd hate that.
I was just reading about De Ligt earlier though, seems he's not had a great season even at Juventus. Can't imagine how he'd have coped being thrown into to the pressures of a City team in the PL.

Only slight issue is his age, but other than that would be a great signing for the club. Actually think it could happen too.
If he says that he only wants to go to city then there is not bidding war.Napoli trying to get a bidding war going
This reminds me of the great Rodney Marsh quote when Sir Alf Ramsey said he was pulling him off at the break.
Rodney said we only usually get an orange at Manchester City.
True, I'm not going to get excited about anything until the CAS verdict though. I just want that never ending shit-fest of a FFP case, to be over.Don’t forget we signed Fernandinho at a similar age, it all depends on the player for longevity
Please let this be true, I think securing Garcia's future is more important than any short term signing. No chance - will be signing a new five-year deal before the end of next month.
Sure I read he wasn't picked by Ramsey again after that.
We ain't getting £22m for Otamendi - he's about to enter the final year of his contract and with the market downturn, allied to his wages, he would be a fool to leave this summer.
Unless Newcastle are daft enough to pay us £50m for Stones, he will still be here next season too.
These guys are all on massive wages already.

Yeah I'd forgotten all about him to be fair. Then there's Taylor Harwood Bellis after him. There's still time for Tosin to prove he can make the grade too(less hopeful about him though).Koulibaly to fix the issues now, whilst blooding Garcia and giving him more game time and learning from 2 top quality CBs when he does play so he can hopefully give us a stint but it's not all on him too early in his development.

We honestly can’t afford any more fuck up defender purchases. Get him bought. Don’t wanna see us spend 30/40 on another fringe/back up/ prospect player. We need someone who’s gonna slot in straight away
