Micah Richards the pundit

As I’ve mentioned previously, he is much more of the Micah Richards we know on the BBC with their more casual approach. He’s as biased as they come and you can get why other people might find him irritating but he’s unapologetic and open about it rather than trying to mask it behind a series of snide comments and I love him for it.

I’ve never understood why people moan at bias punditry, they often try and bring on an ex player from both sides to give perspective from both sides of course it’s going to be biased.

He just trended on twitter for a short while due to angry scousers , he's made me smile for the first time since Thursday and being the son of a rasta here in sunny Leeds he will go on doing so as it's his personality unlike carra, macca, Keano etc.

I like Micah and have been impressed with him so far. But I was cringing at half time when he must have said half a dozen times that he felt sorry for the Geordies

I had visions of him eating humble pie at the end

He’s so positive about everything.

Thank God they’ve started sticking him on the tele over the other twunts.

Keep it up Micah.

Got a career as a TV personality not just a pundit ahead of him if he wants it.

He's not the most insightful or incisive pundit but he's no fool and he may develop his analytical skills. He brings some fun to proceedings.

As someone already mentioned, it’s not a biased pundit thats a problem when watching any match, it’s when it’s a whole studio of biased pundits rooting for 1 of 2 sides.
People may not like A shearer or a lineker, but at least they aren’t bending over for a team in red.
So yes, Micah is biased, but thank god for that, every little helps. And if you have a problem with him, or lineker or shearer etc, then it’s almost certain you support a team in red.

I'm jealous that we don't get to see him over here. Stuck with that little prick owen.

Yeh, we all had a whip round and raised enough money to send him over. Unfortunately there wasn't enough left to get a return ticket. Tough titty. Oh and I don't know why I typed unfortunately, it was deliberate.

He has a big personality, he doesn't take himself too seriously and doesn't try to be clever
He tells it how he sees it and is a breath of fresh air, what's there not to like?

Miles better than our other ex full back turned pundit / commentator, in Mr axe to grind Hinchcliffe.

Keep up the good work Micah

Totally agree, but has he also got a role at City too, I'd rather he develop that, and continue to pundit in his spare time.

Love Micha but what was with that coat. Is it freezing cold in the BBC studio.

Micah is a top fella but I reckon he would be mire suited to the Gary Linekar role, rather than an out and out pundit.
He does not offer anything new or insightful in regards to the games.
Hw can make a great go of a media career, he just needs to find a role that suits him more.
