maybe so but until the dots line up and the ink is dry then he is a city player and not a munich player simple

For me I wait on a confirmation of the clubs...

But when it is about transfer windows... The German one opens tomorrow for a day and then from July 15th to October 15th.

Pepe was more like 70m, not 90m...and to be fair he had 3 years left on his deal, Sane is on 1. I'm sure if Leroy had 3yrs left City would be demanding way more than 70m.

Corona... Injury... One year before end of contract...

German Sky told today that United only offered 55m for Sancho....

That's not a bad price in the here and now considering Sane and fate have effectively shafted us by him refusing to sign a new contract and then getting injured.

Pity about that but we move on.

Allowing us to lose £40m in depreciation in a year (£45m ish including wages) is akin to spending £200m on a player with a 5 year contract.

He’s not worth that to us.
I know but I’m a bitter bastard and I really can’t forget Bayern’s past conduct. You are right that the figures make sense (especially as Blackburn has been briefed that it’s rising to £55m).

Everyone is fucked from COVID, £55m will look good compared to the deals getting done this summer

You don’t understand player amortisation, and the value of trophies if you don’t. In the end only the trophies matter , not the big we made a big profit badge to wear in the playground,
Complete different market today than when we bought him. He helped us win trophies and played well so was worth the money but to claim that we made a “tidy profit” is bullshit.

Oh for fucks sake.

just listen to Liverpool. From klopp to players to fans, they all rate him so, so highly. Literally the difference maker in games where the opponents are good enough to not camp in their box.

I’d have him over any player in our squad today except KDB. There’s good reason we didn’t compete for the prem this year and he’s a large reason.

No we dont,we are not a selling club ,sane is the only one in twelve years that we wanted to keep,we have a policy of having players in their peak years then we let them do what they want ,it is respectful, will you cry when Sergio goes home rather than us sell him because that is going to happen, why do I need to explain the way we work to another blue?

Not like we let Sancho, Boateng, Tevez, and plenty of more players walk for practically nothing to rival big clubs. Even players who see as surplus we cant get a decent price for them. Other teams manage it miles better than us.

The only mistake the club have made is that they probably cashed in last summer as the mood music was he wanted out, I get we really wanted to sign a new contract but sometimes you just have be pragmatic. Then the injury and Covid outbreak have stuffed us but if Martin Blackburn is correct then we have probably just about got what we could.

We wont but after the deal is done the club should release a statement about how unprofessional Munich are with the blatant tapping up
