They're a brilliant pressing side, but beyond that it's amazing how much they rely on physicality to get by.

They're literally Solskyaer's United except they press a lot better.

Klopp's the modern day Mourinho.

Ronaldo(Brazil): 'Liverpool's intensity against Barcelona was something I'd never seen'

When I said that I forgot to put like a ....

But with a better quality squad, the football is simplistic shite you got off wimbledon in the 90s or tottenham under redknapp when not hoofing it over the top for a striker to run onto, difference is the players are top - world class.

Still pretty crap football style and substance wise

For style I agree entirely. I don’t enjoy watching them. It’s not pleasing on the eye in any way.

However I think comparisons to Wimbledon etc are a bit far of the mark, IMO. They press much higher than a team like Wimbledon would have done, and the sole purpose is to win the ball back in the final 3rd of the pitch, which is obviously a very dangerous are to concede possession. The quality of the delivery is also much better. Both full backs can ping balls in the box and find a red shirt 95% of the time. The diagonal balls are also with a purpose, they attack in numbers high up the pitch so the balls are no longer aimless, they serve a purpose.

It’s such a basic, simple way of playing football and is nowhere close to the technical ability of our game. We score better goals, and more of them.

I hated typing that btw, I really can’t stick the cuñts.

That interview was better than the match.

3 questions, 1 repeated and the goofy speckey four eyed twat completely lost it.

See you next next year cunnty bollocks.

Well that was a very chastening watch last night, but have to say reading the above did make me smile again..."cunnty bollocks" LOL
But, outplayed, outfought, lost to better team on the night.
I know they said Sterling MOTM but have to say as ever KDB best player on the pitch in my view.
Poor game for a few 'pool players but think it showed that this season hasnt been so much about Liverpool winning it, as much as City simply not being as good as they are/should be.
Fair play to City tonight, think they proved a point (or 3)

cun?s can't even show sportsmanship in defeat... Sky trying to excuse them for dining out as champions, maybe the celebrations went on too long!!!
Fook right off when gaurdiola won the league in April his team were told to go on and WIN WIN WIN!!!!
i am so rejected the scouse scum have won the league but take a litttle solace from the fact that this as been so manufactured for them ( michael olivrer you twat ) you could of not been more of a **** if you tried, and all for what???? MONEY BT MONEY SKY MONEY. Sickening.
i was a lad who used to travel the land watching city, 80s 90s, 00s with scars to show. Now im sat on the sofa with my pride for city intact and
grandchilden on my knee listening to this bollocks directed at us through satelite dishes and favourtism for the "elite".
Makes me puke. Where was sky when 30 of us gov'nors were fighting for our lives on Broadwater farm estate in Tottenham v 80 lads???
Where was Martin tyler??
I know away games ain't like that anymore more, but we and lads before me are the core of St Marks/MCFC regardless of what society have
you believe today. MCFC was MCFC

I’ve been saying for ages klopp is just mourinho in his first Chelsea years with an added high press and today’s game highlighted it greatly. Pace on the break and when that isn’t an option bombard the box with cross after cross until it works. it’s percentage football, not in the slightest bit appealing but extremely effective

Their fans can make every excuse they want about tonight and the result has no immediate impact on anything but that will harm them going forward. Tonight should have been their crowning glory, beating their closest rivals who many still say are the best team in this league despite being 20 points behind and proving a point about them being the team to beat now. instead, they get spanked and they all know were coming for them next season

Now they've won the two big trophies I've got them nailed on to be burned out come next season. That kept pushing them but playing the incredibly intense way they do isn't sustainble for anyone - these are mere men, not machines. It'll be Klopp's final season at Dortmund all over again.

Well there is a world wide drug shortage, so you may be right.

To be fair, they do press very well. They hassle and get right in your face, and win the football back in dangerous areas. They also move up the pitch far quicker than we do.

Like I said earlier, I’ve never seen a team make a straight, 40 yard ball look so fucking dangerous. The quality of the delivery into the box as well is very good, be it the full backs or Henderson.

With a passion, I fucking hate them, but I have to be a reasonable enough man to admit they are very good at what they do. As boring and one dimensional as it is.
Yeh there is no point denying how effective it is.

And to be fair, anything on the pitch done at speed is exciting to watch (hence everyone enjoys scoring on the break).

Saying that, some of our play tonight was fantastic - the performances that Foden is producing is unbelievably exciting, Mendy looked like a fit and talented left back again, no words neede for the Ginger Prince, Garcia looked comfortable on the ball against the best press in the league, Gundo looked great splitting the 2 centre-halves and playing from the back, Sterling looked a menace again and delighted he caused them damage.

Some of our one-touch moves around the area look very slick which I first noticed during the Newcastle game (do we credit the new coach for this one?).

Bizarrely, I still find myself very annoyed at the Mahrez goal being disallowed.

If next season kicks off with no supporters again, the sinic in me (yes I have heard it said ;-) ) says that our usual trip to Anfield will be kicked into the long grass allowing as much time as possible for us not to play their without supporters (it would present us with a terrific opportunity to get that particular monkey off our backs)............
