Neither party will be given the decision before very early Monday morning. That’s what I’ve been told anyway. I would tend to believe it as there’s been zero leaks which would’ve come had it been communicated already.

Yep agree and city would of prepared two statements regarding the outcome.

There is no chance in hell that both the club and uefa will sit through today's draw with neither knowing. no way. if they for whatever reason didn't know by now, they will for sure from this morning. And i think they would have known at least a week ahead (either of the original or revised date).

If the verdict is expected Monday, then I don’t see why CAS would inform either party until then, probably an hour or two before they issue their press release. We probably would have seen some news leaking if either party had been made aware.

Because that is contrary to their procedure, as published.

I think it'll be passed on on Monday too. The club statement will be a short happy/saddened, with a note on moving on.

I think we are bound not to leak the decision until the public announcement. That might not count for much to UEFA but City certainly wouldn't leak anything in advance in my opinion.

There's no way we would accept a delayed announcement unless we knew the outcome in advance still. The club wouldn't have cared if it was announced before the draw.

The other thing going through my mind, is that by pushing it back UEFA must feel they've lost. We are banned as things stand, so CAS confirming that, whilst big news, doesn't change anything. It creates a bit of drama ahead of the draw but it's nothing new.

Us winning the appeal however is big news and a big loss for UEFA. It's very much reason to push back to after the draw.

Interesting!

Today's going to be fun either way. A bad draw and we've won the appeal. A good draw and...well...what the hell would that mean?! Just signed up to a body language course which starts in 15mins.

Which part have you seen that makes you think this?

Part C, clause 50something onwards. it was posted on here (might have been Murph, apologies of not), a good few pages back and picked up on.

Hence i've been a bit of a broken record about it. They will Definately know before. How much before, hard to tell, but a couple of hours before is not really apt.

Imho, they were told, when they were told the date. I can't see how Cas could contact any given party and say, weve reached a decision heres the date we will announce it, without telling them the decision, when the mechanism is there for that to happen. Any party or their lawyers would be asking to know it, and there would be no justifiable logic for refusing to tell them. So imho, both have knowm since they have known the date. And both agreed to a date change, so both knew at that point, for me.
