Just to confirm, the only real cause for optimism so far is a tweet sent from Ian Cheeseman with information that he might actually have picked up from rumours on here?

And not a single other source be it well connected at City or in the media have any information to give, only Cheeseman?

I doubt we'd leak it to Sinclair, and doubt that he'd be in any position to know. I'm guessing he's likely to have seen Cheeseman's tweet and went on a hunch. All ifs and buts I suppose, but that's my take.

Until there's official news or clear leaks in the media we don't know either way imo.

Not quite but you should know that cheeseman will only have tweeted if is source was 100% reliable he wouldn’t be getting it off here he still has good contacts at the club and like everything now a days there is always a leak

I would also suggest that if it was the other way around a similar leak would have come form the other party and that would be all over the web by now
