Stating I've heard city have been exonerated is more of a safer bet than stating the opposite. I'd you go the other way you then have to substantiate it with either 2 year ban, 1 year ban, charged but suspended etc etc.

What's your point? You don't have to believe him.

Delaney’s tweet as so often is nonsense in a world where Liverpool are Champions and where it was largely triggered as a consequence of the drop down of PSG buying Neymar, giving Barca the cash to overpay by £50m for Coutinho, to give Liverpool the funds to buy VVD and Allison. All in a pre CAS judgment world.

Nowt niche about them, just out of the thousands of blues about you just don't know these berts that use it, I know some that I have been going to watch city with for near on 30 years use it and some that don't.

Horses for courses, I use it and more recently more regular to refer to blues I know, not everyone does though.

Don't think it matters, rags i know hate they have lost the insult and cannot use it to take the piss anyommore.

Nice one Bert ;)

Peps demeanour and the fact he's been allowed time and again to say he's very confident right up to yesterday... No leaks or even inklings from the media... Cheesy's tweet.... the fact that mysteriously reports have emerged that KDB is staying even if we lose (he knows we've won and is now saying he'll defo stay if we lose knowing he doesn't have to back that up).... The absolute deafening silence from UEFA...

These all tell me we've won
KDB reports not mysterious. His agent was the open source and said the stories about him leaving were rubbish.

Amazing that tthis dick, after months of writing about it still doesn't know the case wasn't about FFP, but the revisiting of previously sanctioned charges and adding extra punishments in dodgy circumstances.

You seem to be assuming that he doesn't know, and isn't just deliberately peddling his line for the hordes.

He is probably at a similar level to Chappie in terms of his connections
Maybe he heard something from a former player still working with the club or from someone he knows with the media side of City. They might have got a good impression from what's going on with the way those at the top are acting or what has changed in the last day or so without being given the verdict.

Sunday night 11pm is when the first leaks will start to emerge I'd guess. At least one of the red tops will have got hold of some info.

I’m waiting for MOTD and Alan Shearers’ views; he was so adamant on last weeks broadcast that the ban against us would be upheld, it’ll be interesting to see if he’s changed his views!

The reaction to Ian's tweet has surprised me a bit.

Don't most of us usually encourage people to post what they have heard...think of the transfer forum. Tolmie gets a bit of stick but for the most part we encourage him.

I know this situation is different but what has he actually done? Given us some information that he has heard and shared it plus qualifying it with nothing official.

What does he get in return? If he's wrong he's finished and he's seeking attention.

It's the normal situation. If you want concrete news get off this thread. If you want rumour then welcome and thanks to the people generating the interest.

Good on Ian for having the balls to post something interesting and shame on those having a go at him for doing so.

One final point is that PB is posting equally positive vibes and good on him too.
Well said. If you have followed this thread carefully then there are plenty of gems of information which point to a positive result. A lot of it has been informed speculation and a lot more accurate than anything published in the mainstream media. Cheeseman is a qualified freelance journalist unlike a lot of the clowns in the mainstream press and his views are as valid as anyone. If he has got it wrong then his reputation will suffer. That's life.

He's either thick as mince or wumming. I'm going for the former. He really should be writing for one of those 'Shock transfer news about City target' online click-bait sites.
Perhaps he's wondering where his next income.will come from. If his employers don't get the result they want it may be his fault?
Maybe identifying with his fellow journos is his way of advertising his services.
