He actually hates us, doesn't he?
I`d prefer to call it "hasn`t got a fucking clue" in laymans terms.

Maybe he heard something from a former player still working with the club or from someone he knows with the media side of City. They might have got a good impression from what's going on with the way those at the top are acting or what has changed in the last day or so without being given the verdict. He is probably at a similar level to Chappie in terms of his connections
Sunday night 11pm is when the first leaks will start to emerge I'd guess. At least one of the red tops will have got hold of some info.
You seem to be assuming that he doesn't know, and isn't just deliberately peddling his line for the hordes.
Well said. If you have followed this thread carefully then there are plenty of gems of information which point to a positive result. A lot of it has been informed speculation and a lot more accurate than anything published in the mainstream media. Cheeseman is a qualified freelance journalist unlike a lot of the clowns in the mainstream press and his views are as valid as anyone. If he has got it wrong then his reputation will suffer. That's life. The reaction to Ian's tweet has surprised me a bit.
Don't most of us usually encourage people to post what they have heard...think of the transfer forum. Tolmie gets a bit of stick but for the most part we encourage him.
I know this situation is different but what has he actually done? Given us some information that he has heard and shared it plus qualifying it with nothing official.
What does he get in return? If he's wrong he's finished and he's seeking attention.
It's the normal situation. If you want concrete news get off this thread. If you want rumour then welcome and thanks to the people generating the interest.
Good on Ian for having the balls to post something interesting and shame on those having a go at him for doing so.
One final point is that PB is posting equally positive vibes and good on him too.
Perhaps he's wondering where his next income.will come from. If his employers don't get the result they want it may be his fault? He's either thick as mince or wumming. I'm going for the former. He really should be writing for one of those 'Shock transfer news about City target' online click-bait sites.
