Getting on the forum on Monday is going to be like the old days queuing up for tickets. You will need to get here hours before to stand a chance.

I am already preparing my flask of tea, snacks and sandwiches for tomorrow and to make it authentic I might take my laptop outside and line up next to a wall stinking of urine.

Was wondering if a smart guy like Pep seemingly being unable to do sums (and by inference nobody else at City) is only one possibility as to why he kept mentioning the one point to qualify for Champions league over recent days after technically that became not true over this crucial weekend for the club.

If the club know they are clear or, even if not and just wanted him to send out a positive message then 'missing' the implication of the Leicester v United game (like many reporters likely did) gives a reason to bring up the CL qualification and exude confidence. Which during this two day delay requested by others they likely felt was important.

Saying we are playing for the points to be in next season's CL puts us in the driving seat message wise rather than we have qualified already and now depend on the verdict of others.
 
So, did UEFA ever have access to more emails than were publicly released, or were they using the exact same stuff we all saw?

IF he knows at this present time then yeah I'd agree - we've won. I'm just not that confident that the club know, let alone Pep.

I respect the opinions of PB, PR and others on here and enjoy reading their posts, but I still don't find it implausible that the club really only will find out first thing on Monday morning. @BillyShears says as much too, iirc.

PR has convinced me the club know.

Although it’s fair to say that those who work at the club even people in Soriano’s office are saying they don’t know.
