They will say very little if the conclusion is favourable because we have to move on. But if we lose the case, I expect us to mount a legal challenge against the entire self-serving, monopoly seeking bullshit that is FFPR. We may be banned. But we can still take UEFA out and cost them a fortune in legal fees by doing so.

If we lose, it’s over. People there now won’t be in a position to take anyone to court as they will be up the road - Mansour and Khladoon will likely distance themselves from rouge ex-employees and try and say they are also victims of this internal conspiracy- that’s the only way the reputation can be anywhere near restored....

As a few have already said we would more than likely start next season with a points deduction, some players will want out and that's without the possibility of the above and 2 years away from the champions league.
Nobody on here except yourself has mentioned points deduction least of all players leaving, don't know wtf you are going on about.

That is possibly the single most annoying ‘take’ about this whole process. FFP, as a rule, has absolutely nothing to do with this case

City are not arguing the rights and wrongs of FFP. I genuinely don’t know why people who should know better have a platform to say this sort of stuff*

*Except Miguel ‘Alex Jones’ Deleney, of course but he’s just a fucking weirdo

I think the idea is that the idea of preventing unlimited funding by an owner will be redundant if money can be funnelled through a 3rd party, and not count as coming from a single source.
It's the only reason I can think of that threatens any of FFP, and of course, relies on City's owners having done that.

All i can say is that it better go our way! Just spent 6 days with family in Exeter and returned to find some scrotes have broken into the house and nicked watches and jewellery. Couldn't find the car keys they were after, so we haven't lost the runaround but i'm fucking fuming at the moment. One set of patio doors required . A few sentimental brooches and lockets gone, worth fuck all to someone else, but everything to me

There’s some right scum about mate, sorry to hear about what’s happened.

There wouldn’t be a point reduction without the premier league prosecuting their own case based on their own rules which we could still then fight and appeal.

Okay so maybe the season after, which also leads to the next 2 years as a minimum of this being further dragged out.

Bastards should be strung up.

No fishing from me mate. Have been very confident all along, just trying to inject a host of realism in these last few pages for those Blues who don't think a guilty verdict would not be very bad news indeed.
Yeah, cheers for that, mate...

I also mentioned a possible points deduction scenario.

It would be naive not to think the Premier League clubs would not want to kick us while we are down.

reporting on the BBC website that it could go both ways ??

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53366098

from what i have heard this week and its not from the club ? city did a deal and the 2 year ban will be lifted and suspended for 2 seasons, and the fine will be cut in half a city agreed to a 3 year period of having to show uefa the books, also admitted to some sort of blame in failure in understanding the rules not cheating ??

this is quoted on the BBC report above ???

but like many on here manchester city wanted to clear our name completely from the start so why do a deal with uefa, i don't get a deal myself and from the start people at the club have said we have done nothing wrong and will stand by that

so for me there is no middle ground here and manchester city have to win without a deals or questions, they will be asked by the fans and media on the full no wrong doing qoute they have stood behind only to cut a deal

The BBC report, as usual is riddled with inaccuracies and unfair. It states that UEFA's case against City is based on "thousands of leaked emails." That's not true as Der Spiegel only published a very small number and there has been no suggestion there are any more.
The BBC report also states that City have been accused of "inflating sponsor deals above their true value" That's not true either. Although the misleading phrase "overstated " is mentioned by UEFA the allegations are nothing to do with the value of the deals. They are about where the sponsor money came from. Of course we haven't seen all the evidence but neither has the BBC so how can they report this as fact.

@tolmie's hairdoo has also mentioned it this evening on the thread.

I am simply saying that if we lose it won't be as simple as we spend 2 years out of the champions league and that's it.
