If anyone is thinking of reading the RAWK thread, I suggest starting a few pages before the announcement so you can enjoy how bullish they are, their premature gloating, and also a few worries about how FSG might pack up and leave if FFP goes down the drain.

Craig Bellamy got sent off for his reputation. At least Horlock was walking aggressively in the same match as the red card!

What really amazed me about reading their comments is that not one of them actually read the decision.

There's things in there that make no sense (City's owners, need to launder money lol, just a blatant regurgitation of anti-Abramovic stories from 20 years ago) there's things in there that are desperate (CAS bribed), there's aligning themselves and worshipping with a man, Tebas, who wants all muslims deported from Spain.

But the most striking thing is none of them read it. At one point they start talking about how CAS have lied in their statement, because what the statement says doesn't line up with what they thought had happened.

Obviously most of them desperately cling to the time-barred thing, but they've convinced themselves the only reason the clock ticked over was because we didn't cooperate, which is a complete fiction they invented themselves.

The funniest bit was when they said we'll have no friends at UEFA anymore...

Absolutely, and for a club that has previously been very famously on the wrong end of a media smear campaign they out of any set of fans should be well placed to understand this situation. Clearly they don't though, the cultish behaviour and petty rivalry trumps actual principles.

Rags won plenty of titles by pacing themselves better over the course of a whole uninterrupted season. Agree ok liverpool won the league but nobway can any records be set. It's now a complete different league to the one we started. I didnt read anywhere pre-season that after 75% of the season played there is going to be a 3 month rest. Than no fans allowed, than 5 subs than 4 halfs ! .
It will be a total farce if they get the record unless it is the same set of rules every year.

Or will the records book show

Imagine waiting 30 years to win a title and no one in the country other than the pandering media giving a s***, embarrassing yourselves en mass in front of the viewing public proving every fear and stereotype about your club vindicated. Then.... when you should be happy for once, all you seem concerned about is a club you claim to be small and have no history, being ‘allowed’ to play in Europe and avoid a ban!!! They’re all over social media crying but hiding behind the notion that city is an irrelevant entity, if that were true they wouldn’t be remotely concerned.

The funniest thing is; every one of them I know to a man loved city and were cheering us on when we were ending bacon faces dynasty. Funny venomous they are now.
