I refuse to click anything daily mail I'm afraid good or bad, I hate the publication, it's a disgrace.

I feel dirty now.

I particularly like the part where he admits all elite clubs had serious investment at some point in their history, that is why they became elite clubs.

Great piece By Martin Samuel

I also just read the Martin Zygler piece , which is a very matter of fact piece and gives a good look into how city's legal team as well as UEFA's worked.

Also the Henry Winter's piece starts off like a hit piece on city, but it is a fair read .

What publication was the Zygler piece in please mate?

I think that we would be awarded a 3-0 victory so it's a good tactic.

Being awarded 3-0 victories might keep the players fit but could limit our goal difference. We've had three 5-0 and a 4-0 since returning to action!!

I know, that’s my point! CAS has already found against them once for the exact same scenario, that is beyond incompetence to the point I really question the underlying motives.

Their hubris perhaps or indifference preferring the time that found us guilty so the media followed like lambs.
Now media continue seeing our guilt so it will be interesting to see if the partially detailed CAS reasoning for their verdict is actually looked at.

Certainly Mr Samuels and even Mr Neville see the implication of the verdict.

I doubt that. In Pep press conference on Saturday he was referring to information that happened a long time ago, quoting time barred documents which is what CAS through out.

Great article in the Mail this morning by Martin Samuel. He is spot on with his comments and as a reporter should always be welcome through the gates of the Etihad stadium.
A must read for City supporters and fans of any other clubs wishing to compete at the top table.

72% voted that we should have been banned as we cheated

I'm guessing that the 72% do not understand the ruling, or didn't bother reading it - we did nothing wrong except refuse to comply with UEFA's rules regarding investigations.

I'm guessing that 72% support rival clubs.

I doubt the publication of the full CAS adjudication on Wednesday will get more than a few sentences, if at all.
The main media hope of ‘City = bad bad bad’ has been crushed, they aren’t going to want to cover the in depth reasoning of why they are/were so wrong, are they?

me, I’ll be reading it in depth and hoping I can retain the nuances, to shutdown any gobshites I happen to encounter.

As already mentioned by so many people, we have some excellent articulate knowledgeable fans - pb, pr, Petrusha (and others), and they have helped guide and inform us through the maze of detail, in the face of continuous bullshit from the media in general.
The fact that, in general, no city fan thinks we’ve killed FFP, nor that we’re going to ‘break’ it going forward, compared to the ill informed spouting of the media and most oppo fans myopic views, shows.
