Thank you Martin Samuel. The only bloody journalist that has the intelligence to see things as they are and the integrity to write about them.
I don't think the Mail's share price is going to plummet because you refuse to give articles a click.I refuse to click anything daily mail I'm afraid good or bad, I hate the publication, it's a disgrace.
I particularly like the part where he admits all elite clubs had serious investment at some point in their history, that is why they became elite clubs. On occasion away from the heat of an actual game much as it pains me to post it and it really does, chuckle can be quite objective sometimes.
I feel dirty now.
Martin Samuel used that line.
Just ref when City got the news, article in the Athletic today says it was 1hr before.
"City’s most senior figures only discovered the verdict an hour before its public announcement and the five men pictured are understood to have taken in the news together when the call came in from Switzerland."
What publication was the Zygler piece in please mate?Great piece By Martin Samuel
I also just read the Martin Zygler piece , which is a very matter of fact piece and gives a good look into how city's legal team as well as UEFA's worked.
Also the Henry Winter's piece starts off like a hit piece on city, but it is a fair read .
Being awarded 3-0 victories might keep the players fit but could limit our goal difference. We've had three 5-0 and a 4-0 since returning to action!!I think that we would be awarded a 3-0 victory so it's a good tactic.
Their hubris perhaps or indifference preferring the time that found us guilty so the media followed like lambs.I know, that’s my point! CAS has already found against them once for the exact same scenario, that is beyond incompetence to the point I really question the underlying motives.
What publication was the Zygler piece in please mate?
I doubt that. In Pep press conference on Saturday he was referring to information that happened a long time ago, quoting time barred documents which is what CAS through out.Just ref when City got the news, article in the Athletic today says it was 1hr before.

I'm guessing that 72% support rival clubs.Just been on the Mail web site to download Martin Samuels article and noticed the poll ...................
72% voted that we should have been banned as we cheated
28% voted that FFP is a farce
I'm guessing that the 72% do not understand the ruling, or didn't bother reading it - we did nothing wrong except refuse to comply with UEFA's rules regarding investigations.
I doubt the publication of the full CAS adjudication on Wednesday will get more than a few sentences, if at all.Their hubris perhaps or indifference preferring the time that found us guilty so the media followed like lambs.
Now media continue seeing our guilt so it will be interesting to see if the partially detailed CAS reasoning for their verdict is actually looked at.
Certainly Mr Samuels and even Mr Neville see the implication of the verdict.
And possibly United too.I'm guessing that 72% support rival clubs.
The Times reported that both City & UEFA we’re informed 90 minutes before the press release.Just not buying that at all...
