Am rather concerned that both Walker & Mendy start. They are our best fullbacks and will be needed in the FA Cup semi-final. Hope they are rested after 60 mins, Jesus too, whatever the score.

It's a delicate balance between rotation (for obvious reasons) and making sure players (or certain players, being more acurate) have the necessary game rhythm, are match fit, have restored their confidence (eg Bernardo, Gabby), etc.

Having said that, my first observation when looking at the line-up was exactly what you've noticed. And it will be a big surprise if the scenario you describe (eventually taking out of the game people like Mendy and Gabby, especially) does not occur. But I think it will, as previous matches have shown...

Good luck to the boys. Get this done, reduce the distance with LFC, and finish the season with a 3x3 wins. The moment it's over, we'll start thinking about Arsenal...
