What are the estimates for City's legal fees in the CAS appeal, anyone?
So how come Cheesy knew before them then?
That's a bit like saying what's the point in voting in a General Election. You know one click equates to less than a penny in ad revenue.
I never understand the whole “I’m not clicking that” malarkey and the need to announce it. It makes absolutely no difference to The Mail whether one person does or doesn’t.
Aww.. lve grown to like the posts of the people who think their decisions to give their precious little click (or not) will affect huge companies. You know one click equates to less than a penny in ad revenue.

I was joking, lol.Probably a guess or based on the rumours that were being texted round.
Talk on twitter is that Uefa's case was built on the Der Spiegel articles and nothing else? At what point are the press going to possibly step back and say that they've been done here?!
Not even a sugar cube.It really doesn’t. Cleavers not clicking on any article posted on here for an entire season wouldn’t even starve them of the cost of a cappuccino.
For UEFAs sake I hope not, I posted this earlier in the media thread:Talk on twitter is that Uefa's case was built on the Der Spiegel articles and nothing else? At what point are the press going to possibly step back and say that they've been done here?!
Has Uefa misinterpreted its own statutes?
They also made a half-hearted attempt to get the original documents: Uefa's legal department asked SPIEGEL to publish the material on Manchester City. However, SPIEGEL does not generally pass on confidential documents from informants and informs Uefa that it must contact whistleblower Rui Pinto, the source for the material, or its legal counsel. To date, the Uefa investigators have not done so - although Pinto has emphasized several times that they also want to cooperate with association investigators.
Many of the press weren’t ‘done’ they were complicit.Talk on twitter is that Uefa's case was built on the Der Spiegel articles and nothing else? At what point are the press going to possibly step back and say that they've been done here?!
The Pinto trial will be fascinating (starts in September). It looks like his lawyer is going for the "whistle-blower" defence which explains why he is happy to speak to UEFA. He will do anything to make himself look like a victim. But he was apparently caught trying to collect payment of blackmail money at a motorway service station. He also had hundreds of thousands of pounds in Swiss bank accounts. No need to talk to Der Spiegel when you get the information from Pinto - The alleged thief. (I say alleged because he just became the best place to leak information. It is more likely that Qatari state security did the hacking., )
The balls on them to do that.
They could have easily excepted a reduced sentence deal instead of going to CAS.
They must feel pretty confident now about the future.

Their click has exactly the same impact as that of a Mexican 11 year old using an internet cafe. Ie the square root of bugger all.
The MUEN gets loads of clicks from round the world but is dying on its feet with or without the Liverpool Echo's owners.
City execs did NOT know the verdict when they drove to work on Monday.
They were confident, they were very hopeful, but they were sweating like the rest of us.
That is absolutely concrete.
I’ve said before that UEFA is a multi layered organisation, with many different factions, all with different and sometimes opposing agendas.
To treat it as a single, united entity with a common goal is a mistake.
as has been said by others on here, it wouldn’t be surprising if certain elements were happy for the case to fail, given it will weaken the position of the ‘old guard’ who appear to be clutching at straws.
Ceferin, by all accounts, doesn’t want to continue this witch hunt and wants to build a proper working relationship.
fingers crossed.
There’s that bloody word again!!!!!City execs did NOT know the verdict when they drove to work on Monday.

So Cheeseman was guessing then. Just got lucky.City execs did NOT know the verdict when they drove to work on Monday.

As I have said previously, the statement of applicable law / regulations released the previous week to both parties and dissected by our lawyers meant it would have been a huge suprise if we had not been aquited from the main charges.
How do you know they didn’t take the train ? :-)
